Alright so i have read it before, But now that its real and i am having to pay the bill i want to know the facts.

I know its cheaper to have the vaccines done before my fiance gets here. Does anybody know the price difference? Are the prices regulated in the US or does it vary by location?

My fiancee is 26 so she falls into the $350 vaccine slot. I can handle the fee but it seems steep to me and i want to know how much it would be to have it done in the US before AOS.

Most US Insurances don't actually cover the vaccines here and the Surgeon General that you will need to get them from or have him sign off on them once she is stateside (if she gets them in the DR) doesn't accept the insurance either and you'll need to check near you and see who does it and what they charge.. Here in Florida I have gotten quotes from $75 PLUS Vaccines per each pricing for whats missing.. up to $250 with NO Vaccines included and one who said his fee as $150 all-inclusive, so regardless of whether or not he needs vaccines one set price.

And they have to be USCIS Approved....

~ Jan ??,2013 ~ Service Center ~ Vermont I-129F Packet sent

NOTE: Actual sent date unknown due to lawyer negligence - I delivered ALLForms and PAID Lawyer on Nov 7, 2012 - Lawyer kept saying he sent the packet and USCIS must have lost it. When in reality he failed to send the package and only a new copy to USCIS after I made a legal written demand giving him 10 days to perform or return ALL monies paid to him, due to "non-performance".

(IMO it's better to save your money for visits to or from your Fiancé and just fill it out yourself using the K-1 Guide on VJ and Senior Members... They Rock!!!)

Get it done in the DR...it's included in the cost of the med exam...and, they're likely to require fewer vaccines than if she were to come here. This country is is rabidly pro-vaccine and may likely make a pin cushion out of her. So, just do it there.

are you saying that i dont have to pay $350 + $180? Med exam is 180 and is not included in the vaccine cost from my understanding.

I'm basing my understanding and cost on what it cost in the Philippines. Assuming that Med Exams are similarly priced..I could be quite wrong about that...nonetheless...go to the Embassy website to find out which hospital the US has a contract wth for med exams...generally, there is a flat fee which includes inoculations. That would be the way to go.

The vaccines in the USA for my wife was cheaper, we went to a Immunization clinic and got her shots for free. If you can get them in DR do it. it's better to have your medical ready for AOS, then trying to find a civil surgeon here to fill out the forms etc.

The prive here inclue the medical and vacines, it is better do it here.

If you do the aos before a year after your fiance arrive to usa , dont need go to a gurgeon to sign any paper.

Yeah it wouldn't be any more than that.

Medical is $180

Vaccines start at $110 (prices vary by age and time of yr).

When your fiancee pay the medical, they will ask if she is going tto have the vacines here or at usa, be sure that she says here and pay both.

Some people dont understand and answer at usa, they only take the money for medical and then you have to pay at usa for vacines,

When she be at consultorios de visas, she need pay for both, medical and vacines.

Ok thank you for all the responses. We will pay the $350 which will include the medical exam and the vaccines.
