Ever wonder why petitions get denied?

Interesting, but doesn't really surprise me. I've seen plenty of people who are either stupid, impatient or perhaps a bit of both, that denials for things that essentially boil down to not understanding the process and not following directions does not surprise me much anymore. Of course, there's probably a subset in there that feel they're special enough that the standard rules don't apply to them the same way they apply to the rest of us. And likely a smaller subset that made an honest mistake, yet failed to follow through because the relationship fell apart.

all the cases I chose to read were simple filing mistakes and approval was granted after correct document submittal or denials to petitioners who didn't seem to care for whatever reason to even have a approved petition. A similar link to visa denials at the consular level, now THAT would be an interesting read.
