I know, in Wiki it states not to send documents until the Status is Paid. Currently, mine says "In process". I'm wondering if anybody mailed their civil documents to the NVC even before the status online said "PAID" or the money has cleared the bank? And if you came accross issues due to that?

Thanks!

Good question. I was wondering the same thing. Our AOS fee has been paid and is indicated as such on their internet portal. However, I have been informed that our IV Fee Bill will not be generated until the DS-261 is reviewed. They told me to expect about 60 days for the DS-261 review. So I was also wondering if we should send in our IV packet (it is complete) or wait since we don't have access to the DS-260 until our IV Fee Bill is generated.

Good luck to you ^_^

as long as you included the downloaded IV cover sheet, it'll be ok.

you did include the IV Cover sheet, right?

Thanks! Good luck to you too. Hope you'll get billed for the IV fee soon.

I haven't sent it yet - planning to do it today. I just paid for the IV fee yesterday afternoon.

Thanks!

I send civic document at same day when I pay IV fee on-line.

Because it takes three days to deposit $ on their account and takes three day to get paper to them as well.

Good point! Thanks.

You don't have to wait, you can send in your documents once you have paid the IV fee and have the IV cover sheet.

Thanks all! Nevermind, the Status shows PAID now and I haven't mailed the documents yet. Will have it out tomorrow though.

Another question - did any of you include a copy of your US passport and/or Naturalization certificate with the IV Package? I don't know why but I thought I saw it somewhere to include those. Just making sure before I seal out the envelope. :reading:
