I like the morning blend from Au Bon Pain, but I usually have my own at home, made with a French press - I don't know how I lived without that for so long!

I don't know why but the french press just comes out so weak when I make it. I must not be doing it right or something. I use a cuisinart coffee maker that grinds the beans right in it and then pours the grounds into a filter thingy and then makes the coffee into a thermal container. It's awesome!

I agree that bluemountain is the best. When I took my daughters to Jamaica two years ago I got some authentic Blue Mountain coffee and it was sooo amazing!!! Even there though the price was sky high!!! :blink: They sell Blue Mountain coffee at TJ Maxx here but it's not the same at all.

:thumbs: 100% Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee (not blend) is the best I've tasted too. We do have a lot of West Indian markets here that sell it; very expensive though.

I like the arabic coffee (very similar to turkish and greek) the best. We usually have ground cardomon seeds in too....sooooo yummy. The best is when I drink it at my Aunt's house and then I can flip over the cup and let the grounds at the bottom make a pattern so that my Auntie can read my fortune. :yes::thumbs:

I only read the first post. Coffee has to be one of the most foul substances around. I don't understand how people can drink it!!! :P

Seriously, the first time you had coffee, assuming it was black, how could you choke that stuff down?

Sorry to rain on the coffee parade.

Non-coffee drinkers unite!!!! :dance::dance::dance:

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

-The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Anas bin Malik

A time will come when the sky is torn apart; when the stars scatter, and the ocean drains away; and when the graves are tossed about, and laid open. At that time every man will be told what he has done, and what he has failed to do; and every woman will be told what she has done, and what she has failed to do.

-Qur'an, Al-Infitar, Surah 82:1-5

I feel the same way about any form of alcohol...I don't understand why people like the taste. It's nasty!!! If I was ever going to drink it, it would not be for the taste but just to get drunk. But since I am not going to do that ever, I don't need to drink it. :P

But I do love coffee!

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)
