well.. yeah a bit.. though the white-guy-is-guilty-till-proven-innocent in any black/white confrontation is more apparent to me. Every confrontation seems to be a test of race relations and tilts your thinking.

I thought of an awesome prank

One thing Kathryn shared with me ( She would not give away much), was that when someone reports something in a thread, they have to go back and read all the back and forth, to try their best to make sure a reporter was not using the report button as a tool and to be fair. Other than that, they don't read everything

Now why don't we get this thread up to about 250 pages, with a cat fight intertwined in the whole 250 pages, then report it .

Would that be a fun April fools prank or what

I see the Ferguson city council has decided to appease lawbreakers. Maybe that will ease racial tensions.

There were lots of jitters at the Ferguson police clerk’s window this week, as steady streams of drivers with unpaid traffic tickets and pending arrest warrants turned themselves in as part of a new city initiative to repair its frayed relationship with black residents.

On Tuesday, the City Council decided to abolish fines that are routinely issued if a defendant fails to show up for court, repeal a “failure to appear” law that led to many incarcerations and give people a month to come forward and void their warrants. It also created a special docket for defendants who have difficulty making payments on outstanding fines and moved to establish a civilian review board to oversee the Police Department, which is under investigation by the Justice Department’s civil rights division.

Police Officer in Ferguson Is Said to Recount a Struggle

WASHINGTON — The police officer who fatally shot Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., two months ago has told investigators that he was pinned in his vehicle and in fear for his life as he struggled over his gun with Mr. Brown, according to government officials briefed on the federal civil rights investigation into the matter.

The officer, Darren Wilson, has told the authorities that during the scuffle, Mr. Brown reached for the gun. It was fired twice in the car, according to forensics tests performed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The first bullet struck Mr. Brown in the arm; the second bullet missed.

The forensics tests showed Mr. Brown’s blood on the gun, as well as on the interior door panel and on Officer Wilson’s uniform. Officer Wilson told the authorities that Mr. Brown had punched and scratched him repeatedly, leaving swelling on his face and cuts on his neck.
