Marvin, I think the problem with these most recent cases is that the justice system is not given a chance to work. There's an immediate rush to judgement by the black community whenever there is a white person involved, facts be damned. This is just as much of injustice as the ones portrayed on black people that you speak of.

i've been watching the live feed on vice, and there's been a lot of down time and tim pool talks to the people who live there. from what i've read, it's not about white people. it's about the cops. it's obvious that the community feels that they have been treated like second class citizens for quite some time by the police. and from the police reaction we have seen, i believe that.

The chief medical examiner of St. Louis County, who performed the first autopsy on Michael Brown after he was shot on Aug. 9, says that she is concerned by one of the men hired by the Brown family to conduct its own exam.

“I can tell you absolutely that I find what Parcells does to be abysmal,” Dr. Mary Case told The Daily Caller when asked about Shawn Parcells, a Kansas-based forensic pathologist assistant. He has been accused in the past of fabricating his job title and of conducting autopsies without a license.

Parcells, along with Dr. Michael Baden, was hired last week by the Brown family to conduct an independent private autopsy. They did so, they said, because they did not trust local authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into Brown’s police shooting death.

The team released its results on Monday and determined that Brown was shot at least six times.

One crucial determination was the trajectory of the bullet that killed Brown. Parcells explained to TheDC earlier this week that the bullet was traveling in a back to front direction, indicating that Brown was bent over in some fashion when he was struck.

The location of Brown’s head when he was shot is sure to figure prominently in the investigation. The Brown family and many across the U.S. believe that Brown was “executed” by Ferguson, Mo. police officer Darren Wilson in broad daylight. Wilson reportedly claims he shot Brown in self-defense.

But Mary Case, along with a number of other medical examiners and pathologists have been heavily critical of Parcells.

“He is doing forensic autopsies which may send someone to prison, and he is not a physician, much less a forensic pathologist,” she told TheDC, adding that forensic pathologists and medical examines throughout the U.S. “are shocked by this man and how bold he is to do what he does.”

“No one stops him,” she said.

Case said that Baden, 80, “is an excellent forensic pathologist.” At a press conference Monday, Baden said the same thing about her.

That I can agree with. The issue, from what I've seen is black people are so used to the system not working for them, rioting and looting seems to be the only option viable for them in those situation. Now that thinks are calming down, I hope they can get to the bottom of it.

There's no doubt this mindset towards the cops exists and for good reason. I have first hand knowledge of the racism that exists on police forces. Having a brother who's a 21 year veteran on our local force allows me to see and hear some thing that most folks don't. A lot of it is not pretty.

However this lynch mob mindset spreads well past the police, GZ and the Duke Lacrosse teams are two good examples of that. The black community were protesting and had all of the white people involved guilty before any of the facts came out. These types of reactions do nothing to help the perspective of the black community.

The thing is, the rioting and looting is not a viable option at all. It does absolutely nothing to help them or their cause. If anything it hurts them and reinforces any negative stereotype that people may have.

There's no doubt this mindset towards the cops exists and for good reason. I have first hand knowledge of the racism that exists on police forces. Having a brother who's a 21 year veteran on our local force allows me to see and hear some thing that most folks don't. A lot of it is not pretty.

However this lynch mob mindset spreads well past the police, GZ and the Duke Lacrosse teams are two good examples of that. The black community were protesting and had all of the white people involved guilty before any of the facts came out. These types of reactions do nothing to help the perspective of the black community.

Remember, the black community hasn't had much luck when it comes to matters of the law. I agree rioting doesn't help the cause, but at what point does it take to get some dignity? They left that dude in the middle of the road for 4 hours. They didn't cover his body up or nothing. You'd think he was a dog or something. The complete lack of disregard would piss anyone off.

Hate to jump in with facts, but out of wedlock births have grown from about 20% in 1960 to about 80% today.

Oddly enough 1960's is when the massive federal govt programs started.. I wonder if there is any correlation ?

I don't know about most, but a large amount of the settlers of my state were brought over as servants and they were white. That in no way diminishes the horror of slavery in the US or the plight of our black citizens in our history

I think we all know many governmental and political programs were designed to racially target black people, especially economically. Only idiots don't know this.

i'm saying that i think the 'lynch mob' mindset is being played up , because it's scary and people want to watch exciting things. the regular protestors holding signs and talking about making the community a better place are talking about coming together and helping each other to make things better. i'm not saying that there aren't people who are out of control. i brought up the live feed because the folks that i heard speaking with vice last night were regular people who simply felt like they were defending their children and neighborhood. i don't know how it's being presented on regular media, cnn and such cause i can't watch that shite anymore. it's as bad as fox, all the same.

I know that, you'll always have ignorant people in the bunch. From what I've been hearing some of the looters aren't even from there. All it takes is a few bad apples to ruin the bunch.
