go with a .40. perfect balance of knock down power & penetration.

Do not seem to be able to get .40 around here, hopefully things will settle down.

Rioting and looting isn't addressing the issue. It makes the rioters and looters look bad and adds to the stereotype.

And silence has done what? Give us the privilege of hearing how people hate blacks.

I know, racism is so post America we have to hear about it everyday on VJ.

I got it. Bang up job.

And this is the type attitude that will never get things done. How about peaceful protest? How about community organizations? How about educating people about it? How about using your right to vote and getting your fellow citizens to do the same?

i don't know how the people who honestly want to do this properly can compete with people who seem to think they're kicking off a revolution, unrest is all that gets attention.

1:15 p.m. ET: Since the protests began, city and state officials have said that a large number of the "non-peaceful" protesters are from outside Ferguson. According to NBC, 18 of the 78 people arrested Monday night and early Tuesday were from outside Missouri. And KSDK-TV reports just 4 of those arrested for "failure to disperse" had a Ferguson address.

Okay, so from Texas, we (I and you) are going to go to Detroit and tell these people to get their act together. After we hit the black areas, let's me and you go to Appalachia and tell the white people there to get it together and stop killing each other.

Then, we (I and you) need to go to the conservatives and Republicans and speak with them.

You are right. I think we need to educate our citizens (me and you) because blacks are citizens of the U.S. and as far as I know, I do not own my own country.

Is this a deal?

If you think that calling for death to the police department and looting innocent business owners stores is the way to go about it, so be it. The Civil Rights Movement of the early 60's was about peaceful protests, not thugs looting to take advantage of a bad situation. It didn't call for more violence. All this is doing is giving a black eye to the local black community, no pun or humor intended.

Each of us must do our part, starting in our everyday lives and local area. We can vote, we can get involved. The solution to the black communities issues needs to start from within.

Yea, we do. Violence is the answer. Why not head to Ferguson and fire bomb a few stores and burn some cars? That will solve the problem.

The most of the looters are not even from Ferguson. There goes your theory of the black people trashing their neighborhood.

You said peaceful protest won't get people anywhere. And now you say violence won't either. What do you suggest?

no. i said how can peaceful protestors compete with violence. media/viewers aren't interested in peaceful protest. i have no suggestions, this is why i invest heavily in aluminum foil. i can't handle the reality of how completely uh, fudged everything is.

Ok. So in my neighborhood, "community" I will knock on these random black people doors who are doing excellent and tell them to clean themselves up.

Ok. I got it.
