There seems to be one very important issue missed.

It took 6 hits to stop this guy, we do not know how many misses.

I was thinking of getting a Revolver for carry but that only holds 5 rounds, I doubt in this sort of situation there would be time to reload.

Also what sort of ammo was he using?

if a cop should be an asswhipping machine & be able to take down a 300lb man w/o a gun. how do you feel about female cops? its really not a hard question. either they should or shouldn't be cops. which is it?

I'd presume that women police officers would handle the situation in much the same way that they do in other countries where they have women in the police where guns are only available to specialist units.

Did it actually take 6 hits to take him down, or did the police officer shoot him as many times as he wanted to?

His duty gun must have had a capacity more than 6, more likely 15 plus.

So either he missed with most or just fired what was needed.
