That is your experience. I can only tell you mine. I'm not saying I don't believe you. I am just telling you my experience.

I live in suburbia in a mostly white area. Most crimes committed here are by whites. I don't live in the city, so I don't know what goes on there other than what I read and hear. But since I'm up North in a liberal state, things may be different than in other parts of the country. We actually have educated blacks. Some of them even go to Harvard, MIT, etc etc. They are even doctors, lawyers, businessmen, etc.

But there are cities where there is a large minority population and some of them do have elevated crime rates and the stereotyped racial images.

Originally the claim was that there was not struggle in the car and that he was running away with his hands in the air.. That does not fit with the autopsy report. Another witness said he was holding the kid with one arm and shooting with the other - the autopsy does not support that.

Well of course the autopsy wouldn't prove that Brown was running away with his hands in the air. An intial shot being fired at close range can be proven though. That last bit sounds like something from GTA. Where did you get that info?

So you admit yourself, crime in your white neighborhood, but yet in still, whites are not being harassed by the police everyday for just going about their normal daily activities.

Two Fruitland Park, Fla. cops have lost their jobs after an FBI source named the two as members of the Ku Klux Klan. According to WFTV, Deputy Police Chief David Borst resigned last Thursday and Cpl. George Hunnewell was fired on Friday. This isn't the first time a Fruitland Park officer has been accused of belonging to the KKK.

This has been my first hand experience. I can't comment on blacks being harassed for going about their business. I have no doubt that blacks are racially profiled in some areas, but is that happening in crime free neighborhoods or is it happening in high crime areas with high percentage black population? In my area, I would expect most crimes to be committed by whites. But if I went to Brockton or Mattapan, I would expect that more crimes would be committed by blacks and other minorities since they are a larger chunk of the population. Unfortunately, many people here and in the real world use the percentage of crimes committed by blacks vs their percentage of overall population to judge everyone in the entire race.

The autopsy proved he was facing the cop (he was not shot in the back)... That does not mean the cop is not culpable, it just proves the witness testimony is not entirely correct.

Where I am, it's both. Little to no crime in some areas but if a minority is in the community who is not mowing the lawn or in Nanny/aide worker uniform gets you the side eye.

There isn't a heavy police presence in places where poverty and minorities dwell. So, if I were to go to say East Saint Louis, I wouldn't get stopped. They could care less about crime there. The cops are just collecting a paycheck. Now, If I were to go to say Lake Saint Charles, St. Ann(when it was predominately white, I've been stopped there a few times) or anywhere were whites are the majority, I'm more likely to get stopped.

This is why it's disgusting that here and IRL we're told we have to clean up our own neighborhoods when the city pulls the resources from a place that has a large influx of black people.

People should really make up their minds.

Reasons why racist say they hate blacks;

don't graduate high school

don't go to college

don't work

don't raise kids in two parent households

don't make education a priority

Then, when you do have blacks doing this, you throw stats about the black race and crime everyday. Just HYPOCRITES!!!!!!

I would never, ever applaud the cop that shot that white kid because he was wearing headsets and didn't hear the commands. I don't care if he had a rap sheet as long as Bush's ears. I don't approve of the killing of people for non-violent crimes.

When I was a kid, Brockton, Milford, and other towns here in MA were largely Italian. Over the decades, more minorities moved in, especially Brockton. The crime rate went up. For a variety of reasons, there are cities and towns in every state where this has happened, and most frequently the poor black neighborhoods is where it has occurred. As this continues, the stereotyping continues to grow, IMO. But honestly, people are responsible for their own actions. Some of the habits and learned behavior are hard to break, but it does start at home. And from what you have posted here, your mother was a fine example of starting it at home. And you are living proof that it does work.

I haven't heard witness statements that said Brown was killed at close range.

Brown could have been shot at while running away and is the basis of someone's viewpoint. Did any reports say how many rounds were fired vs how many bullets were collected from the scene/Brown's body.
