no. i saw articles with those sort of headlines but didn't read them because his character's media portrayal is of little consequence to my opinion.

i like how 'the media' was painting him as an angel when i saw 'the media' cover both angels. did it ever occur to you that at the very beginning the only people speaking of michael brown were his family and friends and the eye witnesses on the street? i'm sure to his family and friends the loss of his life was very heartbreaking and unnecessary. what else would you have them say but what they knew of him?

I'm not saying anyone said anything they didn't feel, just saying that the initial display showed a sweet kid shot by a (potentially) rogue cop. As details come out, we will (I hope) discover the truth.

Eye witness said different ,,,,,He and the officer have the same story Your gentle giant was trying to take out a cop. watch and learn something

Dorian Johnson and Tiffany Mitchell have similar stories. Should we infer that your good guy cop murderered an unarmed individual and you should broaden you level of thinking by reading so you can learn something? Smh

During the Boston Marathon bombing, information was all over the place for a few days. I watched live when they said they believed the suspect was hiding in a boat. You could plainly hear 20+ shots being fired. A few days later, it was stated that the suspect didn't fire at the police and the police didn't fire any shots during his apprehension.

I watched it and heard the shots as well. At least 20 shots were fired and nothing ever mentioned about it since.

Funny how that suddenly disappeared, isn't it? Lots of people were watching the live coverage and heard the barrage of shots, yet a day later, no shots were fired. It sounds like a few people got trigger happy. But the point is, initial reports are quite often not entirely accurate and as time goes on, the facts come out. In this case we are seeing the same thing. A kid walking down the street minding his own business is shot for no reason to a kid attacking a cop and shot in the process. The truth is in there somewhere.

The rioting and looting is a black eye on the community responsible for it. There is no excuse or logic for what has taken place.

I think it was analogy. They did paint him as a good kid, good student, never caused trouble etc etc. Minding his own business, shot for walking down the street, just because he was black.

Hardly he truth

Like when we call TM Saint Skittles, because he was portrayed as this cute little 14 year old, who just went to the store to get some candy.

Being that he was getting ready to go to college, you know most people do not think black people go to college, he was a pretty okay kid.

Most young adults and teenagers get into some kind of trouble. If you know how to read stats. This is normal behavior. I am sure you did some things when you were younger too. But whatever  pretend you don't know what I'm talking about. Wouldn't be the first time.

meh, depends upon if you trust where the eventual 'facts' are coming from.

I believe the boat was reported to be full of bullet holes as well? No shots fired, eh?

and that is why the police, who have been criticized for not releasing info, have been so slow to do so. They want to make sure they get it right.

When this first happened, the media was calling him a sweet kid who just graduated high school, and the impression given was that the cop was a rogue who just murdered an innocent kid. Depending on when you started reading about it, what you saw may have been different.

Is this the part that has you all worked up? He actually graduated from high school? Unbelievable sooooo shocking. Now you know that everyone is lying because there was no way this dude graduated high school.

People should really make up their minds.

Reasons why racist say they hate blacks;

don't graduate high school

don't go to college

don't work

don't raise kids in two parent households

don't make education a priority

Then, when you do have blacks doing this, you throw stats about the black race and crime everyday. Just HYPOCRITES!!!!!!

I would never, ever applaud the cop that shot that white kid because he was wearing headsets and didn't hear the commands. I don't care if he had a rap sheet as long as Bush's ears. I don't approve of the killing of people for non-violent crimes.

I was hell raiser when i was a kid. Never was dumb enough to charge an armed cop.

so the same cops that you think are overstepping their collective bounds across the country (or was that just last week) are also extremely prudent in their reporting..

Attacking a cop is a violent crime.

Val last week, I was all on this kids side. However after examining all the evidence we now have, it appears that he cop was justified. It has nothing to do with race.

it's not about sides. it wasn't last week and it isn't now. either you take issue with the state of policing in the u.s. or you don't.

you either have a problem with cops executing people or you're cool with it.
