How long to get US Citizenship through F2A , Child of LPR ?

Hi , I'm a F2A beneficiary and dad petitioned me ( I'm under 18 ), now i am starting to think of further ahead so i come up with this question , normally i see all the related questions were spouse typed F2A not minor children F2A category so it confusing.

Or it is no different and i'll have to stay in US for 5 years in order to get citizenship ?

Hi,

If a parent naturalizes before you turn 18, then you would automatically be a US citizen if you are an LPR who lives with the USC parent under the Child Citizenship Act.

Once you turn 18, you would need to be an LPR for a total of 5 years to qualify for US citizenship.
