Hi everyone, I'm k1 Visa and had interview last July 18, I got 221g for clearance in China, so I decided to fly there to obtain bymyself because I don't have anybody to do it in my behalf.

I emailed the usem embassy to withdraw my passport for a while but it's already 3 weeks waiting for them to reply. Is it normal they reply this long? I even called them but the agent always say keep waiting. My case doesn't move at all because of my police clearance so I really need to travel immediately.

Do you have any suggestions how to withdraw my passport? Thanks

Check the US Embassy Manila website...they have "instructions" on how to do it.

I've heard that it's rather difficult getting a police clearance from China...wish you the best of luck!

Hi Thank you. Yes very difficult to get a police clearance from China. They don't issue here in. Manila.

Did you try contacting USEM about this? If it is becoming a know issue they may waiver the requirement (may)
