Both my parents and brother have valid tourist visas and we are thinking of flying together so they can attend our wedding. Do you think it's a good idea that they tag along with me? I've read some horror stories about where some family members were denied entry in immigration. I'm not sure why but they all suspect it's because they are travelling with a K1 visa holder family member.

After the wedding, we are also going on a tour so another option is they fly on a separate flight, will not mention anything about my wedding so less questions I guess(?) and show them the booked tour itinerary.

If you have been in the same position, please let me know what is the best option. I just want a hassle free experience for my parents. It's their first time going to US. My brother would be 2nd time. Thanks all!!

Seeking admission into the United States the burden of proof is upon the person whom is seeking admission. If you can prove your intentions, economic solvency while in the United States and the intention and means of departing the United States you should have no problems.

Thanks portlandref09!! Okay, I'll have my parents and brother prepare some documents of their ties here in Singapore. They will only be in the US for 2 weeks so they'll definitely have a return ticket. Thanks again!
