Finally CEAC changes from Refused to Ready - 1 year K1

Well after filing 129F August 21, 2013....getting a 601 waiver....then getting a 221g from the embassy....and contacting 1 senator and 1 congressman.....

Finally today the embassy emailed us back, and they actually said "we apologize for the delay"....

....... they got all the 221g paperwork August 7th....and they are looking at it now..

then a couple hours later....

And after being on "Refused"...since January..

..finally CEAC today changed to "Ready."

Wow. Will it go to issued soon? Maybe Monday.

Maybe says ready cause u need to have one more interview again. For sure u ll have to do medicals again and fingerprints. Maybe u ll have to give them a new affidavit too..

Ohhhh well... Im so sorry u had to wait soooooo long grrrr i know how annoying is...

Thanks, we already gave them everything, new medical, etc etc. This is their response to our 221(g) docs asking for my 2013 taxes, 134, and 2 new passport pics...they have it.

We definitely don't need a new interview. If we had that would have been great but they would have told us when they emailed us the 221(g)....as people that get new interviews and bring all the docs get the visa right away...for some reason at this embassy it takes them 3 weeks And Ive heard 3-4 months) to look at anything extra they want after its sent in and it gets lost sometimes....I was so relieved to hear that they have it...one of our lawyers other clients had passport LOST...another one had passport lost for 2 months until it was magically found again.

We will find out soon but I think we are done. I just read someone else who's went to ready for a day then issued the next....ugh its sat tomorrow...Mon and Tuesday were embassy holidays here...and I have to fly back to CA this Monday...so unfortunately looks like she won't quite make it back with me Monday...I guess there is always a chance....

Did they change the case creation date? When they do the next day they will issue ur visa.

I had my interview last month we got a 221g and we were on administration process. In the 13th they changed the case creation date and yesterday , one day after they issue the visa.

Just check ur case again and again... They will issue the visa really soon if they asked for those things wooooohooooo

Thanks! No I just check the case update date since that has changed so many times...never checked the case creation date..I thought that would never change...thanks Ill check it!

Yes yes... That crazy was me hahaha...

We were calling them again and again.. We contact the White House and congresswoman and then they called my mother for more info. Finally they issued the visa yesterday!!!

That was not too bad after all...great news..... 1 extra month is nothing in the immigration world..... its been a year for us so far. Enjoy!
