K1 visa on hand and tentative plans after POE, please help!

I just received my K1 visa and our application process went smooth and hassle free. I believe one major factor is because we did an extensive research here in VJ. This forum have been a tremendous help so sincere thank you to everyone!! :dancing:

My visa will expire on 18 January and here’s what we are planning to do. I would appreciate if you guys can comment if our plan is feasible. Thank you in advance!!

11 January: POE at Las Vegas. Do you foresee any problems if I max the validity period? This is due to prior commitments so I’m unable to leave anytime soon.

12 January: Apply SSN using maiden name. I believe this is now possible due to online I-94.

13 January: Apply Marriage License

15 January: Wedding Ceremony and apply for expedited certified copy service (within 3-6 business days following our ceremony)

23 January: will likely receive the Marriage Certificate

Once we have the Marriage Certificate, we will apply for Adjustment of Status and change name in SSN because I’d like to take my fiance’s last name. We will be California residents after the wedding but I believe there shouldn't be a problem even if all our documents will show Las Vegas, Nevada right?

I am bringing my family with me hence we don't want to delay the wedding. Do you think our plan is too assuming that everything will work out? If you foresee any loopholes please let us know. As always, we consider all your advice here in VJ! :)

getting married in Vegas is no issue regarding living in Cali. after the wedding
