Hello everybody,

So, since I am hoping that SOMEDAY I will have my husband's visa interview, I was wondering how the conversations, text and chatting proof goes. How exactly is that organize? What I mean is, I am not going to print out 800 pages worth of conversations. That is just insane! If anyone on this site has a system that they have used in the past, please let me know. Thank you all.

My husband printed off around 100 pages of conversation throughout the years and took greeting cards we exchanged. The interviewer passively looked at a couple of birthday cards I sent and that's it. I have heard of couples being scrutinized and the interviewer requiring timestamped things showing the length of their relationship.

My advice: print out a few pages per year of your relationship. Just show you continuously were together. And take cards, letters. I think they enjoy reading those sometimes.

I know my timeline sucks, but my husbands P.O.E was on January 7th, 2013!

Greencard in hand! After almost 4 years, WE DID IT!

Thank you for your advise, but we don't mail each other greeting cards or letters. We are from the Dominican Republic and the postal service is a real mess. Also, it cost a lot of money to use a private carrier. We talk via Whatsapp, Facebook and other internet sources. I just don't know how get those conversations out on paper. We are poor people and we didn't have a fancy wedding, we don't go to resorts, we don't transfer each other money. I am really scare about the expectations that we are suppose to fill to prove that we are a legit marriage.

You don't need to have a fancy wedding to proof that your marriage is legit. You can print out your email conversations, facebook and whatsapp chat or call records.

Timeline

We about 100 pages worth of (Skype) phone call history log,

(Skype) chat message, and emails for her fiancee visa interview.

Like you, had we printed everything, it would have been perhaps nearly 1000 pages,

and so you have to extract enough evidence to show that...

1. Communication was regularly done

2. And they might want to see the contents of the communication as proof that

you have a bona fide relationship.

What's funny is...they never looked at any of it, and still approve the visa,

but I think this is the exception so you have to prepare well...just in case.

There were 4 people at my wedding and we live in a trailer. Go to a library or ask someone computer savvy to help you print some pages off.

This is what I did! 1 page per month random days....I did 2011 from FB 2012 from MSN Messenger 2013 & 2014 whatsapp dont go crazy!~

Thanks, but I would like to know if this is something that they really want to see or it is just a waste of time? I was talking to somebody who told me that it is really a matter of luck. He went for his interview and they ask him 5 questions of which he was only able to answer one correctly. He didn't bring any messages, phone records or anything else, and even like that, his wife got approved! He is not lying either because I spoke tí his wife and she confirmed it. It makes me so mad when I hear things like that because other people that are super prepare get denied.

Just a sampling that shows you communicate regularly. 800 is overkill. Quality over quantity.
