URGENT: I-864 without an employment letter?

something came up last minute! i need to send the package tomorrow and my sponsor cant seem to get in touch with the person at his workplace responsible for writing the employment letter for him! is it safe sending his I-864 affidavit of support as joint sponsor without an employment letter, attached only with the tax return transcripts and documents showing his US citizenship? will that be enough or will i be getting an RFE requesting proof of employment???

Hmm...his current employment verification (with salary info) is probably one of the most important factors for affidavit of support,

so I think very likely he will receive RFE.

Isn't there another person in the company that can do the letter?
Can it wait until next morning to get the letter, and he can overnight the package?

thank you so much for your fast replies! yes i decided to wait until i get the letter, i dont want to risk getting an RFE. the reason for me rushing the sending of the package is that im applying as an F-1 student, and my I-20 and thus my status as well, expires on august 18th, which is next monday! so i wanted to try and def send it all before the 18th. ill try getting the letter tomorrow and then sending everything on saturday, august 16th. i hope that will be fine... thank you!!!!

If you struggle to get a letter, the most recent 6 paystubs can also help show current employment. We did that and so far have had no RFE, though we are still waiting for our interview.

We also did not send a letter, just 6 months of the most recent paystubs and no RFE for us either.
