Oh ok thats good to know! Sorry but i have one more question! Is their anything you started to take care of meanwhile? Fingerprints..medical exam?? Appointments?? Do we just wait?? Sorry we are anxious

Hi, my fiancé received the letter in the States about 2 weeks later, he scanned it and sent it to me, that's what I used for my visit to Juarez , my letter arrived to my address in Mexico after I had the interview and all!!!

They actually send out the letters from El Paso, TX, that's why it takes longer to arrive to the beneficiary's address.

Did u schedule your appointment during this time?

You don't need an appointment for the medical exam, you could plan on doing that a day or 2 before the interview , the same for the finger prints. If you click on my timeline there is a consulate review, you can find some good info there about the process in Juarez ( I would type it again, but I am on my phone now)

Philippians 4: 6-7. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Hi! The package is actually just a letter with te instructions they already have at the website, you can go ahead and start filling out DS 160 and schedule appointments, if you have not received the letter by your appointments time you can go to the consulate early and request a copy.

Thanks for the info! So the appointments have been scheduled and paid the ds160, im so nervous to think that if he has to go get a copy for any reason they dont give it to him or something! I want to get this over with! Im looking into flight and they are pricey and very long flights, theres no direct flights.. Oh well, this will all be worth it☺️

Wait wait wait... I have been answering you as if you were applying for a K-1. These are the instructions for a K-1 applicant, not someone trying to get a CR-1 spousal visa. I never noticed your profile said that before. These instructions do not pertain to you. You submit documents to the NVC and the NVC will supply your interview date. I didnt wait for my visa in Juarez, Actually I took a plane back to Monterrey after the interview and waited to it to arrive to my local DHL office. It arrived 2 weeks later. I am sure it is way faster in Juarez, but I have no idea how long. I hope you have it soon!
