They were probably surprised you cared.

I know right, because all white folks are Rassaist

It seems M Brown is not quite angel, the Media is reporting.

Fixed for you. Why do you think they were surprised? And why would they think that way, if that were true?

Why do black people who are killed have to be perfect? Provide links, I'm curious to see what's being said.

Oh no they don't. I am on your side,so far in this one . I did not provide a link on purpose, because there is too much false stuff floating around. I want to see it for a fact.

I said this in the earlier thread about the white kid, when several white members brought up his past. It is relevant if someone is being accused of something violent and they have a violent past. Now let me be clear that does not give the police a right to gun them down, unless they were being attacked. However it it turns out this kid has a past history of violent behavior, arrest and fighting with cops and there is some evidence he struggled with the police, then yes it's relevant regardless of color.

I've done a search when you brought it up. So far, he had no criminal record. But there are multiple accounts coming in as to what actually went down. The cops are saying he was trying to fight and grab the officer's gun. The eyewitnesses are all saying he was running with his hands up when he was gunned down. I'll be glad when forensics and evidence can clear up the mess.

I think the past is irrelevant is some cases because even if you have a history with the police, does it matter if this time you weren't doing something wrong?

FERGUSON, Mo. — The Ferguson, Mo., police department on Friday identified Darren Wilson as the officer who shot Michael Brown, whose death spurred violent protests and unrest in the St. Louis suburb over the past week.

Ferguson, Mo. Police Chief Thomas Jackson said Wilson has been on the force for six years and has no disciplinary action against him.

Jackson announced the name Friday morning in a very short news conference, three days after saying he would name the officer, then reneging citing a fear for the officers safety. He would not provide further information about Wilson.

Jackson also gave barebones details about a strong-arm robbery at a local convenience store that took place moments before Wilson shot Brown, but he did not say if Brown was the suspect in the robbery. He released dispatch records and video surveillance of the robbery as well.

Brown was unarmed when the officer killed him. Witnesses in the area say Brown had raised his hands to surrender when he was shot. Police have not confirmed that information.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

I disagree and it has nothing to do with color. Not saying this kid did, but what if he had 2 prior's and both involved resisting arrest and attacking cop. That would sure raise a cloud of doubt in my mind.

Michael Brown had no criminal record

Michael Brown, the unarmed 18-year-old man who was shot and killed by a Ferguson police officer Saturday, had no criminal record, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office confirmed Wednesday.

Also Wednesday, Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson told KMOV Channel 4 that the officer who shot Brown was injured during the incident.

The officer “was hit” and the “side of his face was swollen,” Jackson told KMOV.

Authorities have refused to release the name of the officer, citing threats on social media.

Police said Brown and the officer got into a physical altercation, and that Brown tried to take the officer’s gun. Brown’s family and those claiming to be eyewitnesses have rejected that account.

Brown's body was released to his family Wednesday, a lawyer for the family told KSDK Channel 5. Police have said they will not release the results of Brown's autopsy, conducted Sunday, until toxicology tests are completed.

Protesters gathered Tuesday in Clayton, downtown St. Louis and back in Ferguson.

Mayor James Knowles III on Wednesday asked the public to assemble only during the daytime, as further violence erupted Tuesday night and early Wednesday.

What's funny about this, is GZ had priors and one of them was resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer. Yet he got the benefit of the doubt.

No one is disputing the altercation. Many folks said he was being pulled into the car, if he got hit in the face, I'm not sure that warrants 6 shots into the body.

I agree, except Marv will have to answer for himself

He has. Hundreds of times. Right here.

And still I love him, though he proves to us regularly that his is a "religion of peace" with comments like "I will cut you", or "I have an extra blade for you". Next, I predict we will learn that he has purchased an assault knife or two...

Don't remember what I was talking about.

The "white woman" behind the black guys with the "hip vigil candle". YW
