i just called NVC tonight, i got our approval Aug.5, NVC CSR told me that they just got our case and suggested we may call them anytime this week. I think you should try calling them.

I have been approved on July 24th then RE-approved on August 6....Then, on August 13th, I finally received an update stating case has been shipped to NVC...Fiance called and still not yet received..

The NVC is getting so many approvals just be patient and keep on calling them.

My apologies but I thought this is what NOA2 is. That's what my NOA2 says. Are you saying that it's possible that some have NOA2's without this wording?

K. Update on my end is I got another notice 3 days ago that had wording specifically stating it was sent to NVC. Did you get that also?

Not yet. It still says the same thing, but it hasn't even been 24h yet. Also, since I didn't get any notifications on NOA2, I'm guessing it's possible that I don't get any when they ship it, so I'll keep checking the website.

That & ensure you start calling NVC every day exactly 2 weeks after NOA2 date to get your Case # & ensure they transfer to the US consulate abroad. From what I've been reading the past week on VJ, it could take up to a week after they have the Case # before it's actually sent to the consulate.

Yes, thanks! My hopes are really low on that, I'm prepared for NVC to take a long time... Unfortunately I think they will now with all these approvals plus their backlog problem.

( 8 days )...NVC told us we should give them a couple of weeks or whatnot...but SIGUDEP81 called today (day later) and he received his case number..My fiance is also calling today, and so he's on hold.Wish us luck!!!

Official NOA2 8-12-2014. Notification of shipment 8-19-2014. But I read in a thread that someone called NVC 2 weeks after NOA2 & they confirmed they received it from USCIS & gave him his Case # & then told him to call back 1 week later to verify it left NVC to the consulate abroad. So maybe I should just got ahead & wait till Tuesday, 8-26-2014 before calling to verify NVC received it from USCIS.
