I-130 receipt number not found in USCIS.GOV?

so wondering if anyone knows the answer to this mystery.

I got NOA's back in start of June for the I130, I485, I131, and I765. i forgot to include the notification tracking G-1145 which was silly. anyway the NOA's have the receipt numbers on them. So you can just signup at USCIS.GOV

now the thing is I was told to just wait but I'm getting a bit worried because its been 2.5 months and it's still not on the system? (All the other receipt numbers are trackable, just not the I-130) the system says "not found" for that receipt number.

is this normal??

Don't be, it's probably just an error in the system since you have numbers for the other two forms :) if the I-130 was missing they would have just returned the I-485 instead of issuing a case number.

Wait I just noticed you have your EAD already? Now I'm pretty sure you have nothing to worry about.

ok so i took your advice and called USCIS again (actually my wife did since she is the petitioner), and they said, yeah you just have to wait longer... "they are processing august applications now".. not sure what that meant hah.

yup have EAD - but they also said the i-485 interview date is not affected by the i-130 delay... this makes no sense!?? how can we be going for an interview if the i-130 hasnt been processed? (i thought they were linked) or am i the one confused? :)

Well, I'm not a 100% sure on this, but I remember reading a memo from USCIS saying that any I-130 filed by a USC on behalf of a non-USC spouse is either to be accepted or approved on the spot and cannot be denied, hence making a visa number available immediately. I can't find it online >< But I guess that could explain why the I-130 being processed has no effect on the I-485 interview?

Someone else should be able to answer this better than I can, I'm in way over my head haha :P

my i-130 never turned up in the USCIS system until i submitted an AR-11 to change my address while waiting for my interview to be scheduled. do you hate USPS tracking? USCIS tracking is way worse than USPS tracking. 'nuff said.
