Every time they update the processing times they want to make sure that there is no one who can make an inquiry. its not the first time this thing happened.

You're right. The sad thing is, there are people who can still make an inquiry. There are people who put their inquiry in weeks ago for late July/early August petitions and they are still waiting for a response to said inquiry.

William called USCIS in January and spoke to a Tier 2 officer. At the time we had been waiting about 5 months (the time they told us to wait before we could call about our case). Well the agent told William that our petition was in Nebraska

He called back and someone else confirmed we were in Texas. Yeah, after 224 days, there was no doubt in our mind where our petition was. I think they train these people to get rid of you as fast as they can when you call. Helpful? Not!

i said it once, these people are NOT lawyers, they are more like a jury. they are given a booklet with the law and they have to make a decision base within this booklet... my brief 3 courses in aviation law gave me a better knowledge of the law than these clowns...

We are under administrative priocessing...By now it's 8 months since NOA1 (and 13 since I saw my love in person last time). The reason of AP is - me and my fiance haven't seen each other during last year. This looked suspicious to the consulate officer. Whose fault is this? When we filed, we hoped for 3-6 months of the whole process. And every month we were waiting for approval and saving money for our happy future together instead of planning to spend thousands of dollars for trips abroad, well, we were about to plan to see each other finally in February-March, because the wait became unbearable, but we got approved in mid Feb, so we thought it were going to be, like 2 months until we are finally together.
Let's suffer even more now with AP!

Finally got our NOA2. 8/25-4/13. I received an email at around 10:30 pm ET.

I agree with Tabeak. It's about time! Congratulations. You must feel like a huge weight has just been lifted off of you!

Hey guys! The U.S. Consulate General Lagos, Nigeria sent us the packet 4 today through the email with attachment. Things are moving really fast.

That's great news :) Do you have an interview date?

No. The attachment packet sent says Interview_Prep_Packet_K 1. It came with a letter that says " The U.S Consulate General in Lagos is ready to begin final processing of your approved K 1 VISA petition." Also to go to any Guaranty Trust Bank PLC in Nigeria and pay $265 visa fee. I guess after this an interview date will be given. My Fiancé is going to pay for it tomorrow.
