Lol. USCIS is drunk. I believe the person handling your case must be extremely incompetent and slow. It boggles my mind that they cannot go in order. Hang in there.

That adjudicator deserves the hangover from hell. He or she has our petition too, it would seem. Perhaps we'll get a case of fine red wines with our approvals.

Congratulations to those of you approved. One step closer :)

Good news, i just got an update from USCIS my case is sent to NVC. I'm not sure if that means NVC already have it or USCIS just mailed it to them. i'll call NVC in two days to check.

I got the notification that my case was sent on Feb 26th, NVC received it March 9th (this might save you some time on the phone)

Congrats to all who have been approved. I'm still waiting and was told to wait some more. I'm going out of my mind with all the waiting. My NOA 1 was July 28 and still nothing!! Why was I skipped? I'm just miserable. ?

We can relate. Ours is just six days after yours and we also feel skipped over. At least now you're beyond normal processing time, so you should get some relief from them when you call to complain.

Of course, they'll tell you that takes 2-3 months, I bet.

The only way to get a fast answer from TSC is to request an expedite. They reject those immediately.

I got notification on March 5th that it was sent and called on March 11th. They still don't have it. She said it takes 35 days for them to receive it and then it will take an additional 4 weeks to assign a case number. Holy hell, why do things move so slowly? I can only imagine it's another 2 months just to get P3 and schedule an interview.

Keep trying, the 35 days is BS.

Hi all

I have been lurking on this forum for awhile now ... My fiancé and I meet 11 years ago when he was living in the U.s. We dated on and off but both had a lot of growing up to do about 2 years ago we found each other again.. We always new from the first day we meet we were meant to be ... I sent our application in on 8-1 noa1 is 8-4 filled for expedited on 8-16 ( because when I had questions and called uscis the lady I spoke to before I even filled told me i qualified) but got denied because said I didn't give enough information even though a agent told me someone would contact me for further information so We have waited like all of you very patiently ... I call uscis today and the gentlemen I spoke to told me in negative 2 days I could then call and file a case inquiry if I didn't hear anything .. I repeated this back to him several times and he confirmed if I didn't hear by Friday I could call Monday and do an inquiry ... Funny though now I'm bugging out because exactly at 6pm eastern time I got an email state your appeal dismisal has been denied and original decision stands ... How would I have an appeal decision when I haven't even got noa2???? Help please because uscis close at 6 I have to wait till tomorrow to call again!!! I saw somewhere this has happened before ? It's a system glitch???

It's probably a system glitch. It has happened to VJ members from time to time.

We just got approved!!! The email alert was sent at 9:30 tonight and the text alert was sent at 10:01pm. I thought that we would've been approved sometime in April. It's been a long long wait and I hope everyone else that's waiting knows that they will get approved soon!

I am so happy! This has been so stressful. We already have our entire wedding planned for August. We were both getting worried that we wouldn't get thru the process in time. With all the delays in TSC we thought we would get an approval during April or even May! I wonder how long it will get to NVC...and then the consulate..time to receive the packet 3 and get an interview date. He already has a ticket to visit me in the States in the first week of April. I hope customs doesn't give him a hard time!!

My case was sent to nvc on the 9th, so exactly 1 week after our noa2. I called and I was told that its about 35 days Before nvcgets it updated in the system. Going to call again the end of next week. Fingers crossed. Someone on here said that 35 days for nvc and another month before it gets to the embassey. Very long but I'm trying to remain positive and I'm just grateful that we are through the longest part.

My fiance came to visit me for Christmas from Trinidad. They stopped him at immigration briefly for questioning once he mentioned he was seeing his fiance. The one question they asked him was where are your return tickets/itinerary. So my advice would be to print the round trip itinerary and have it in hand to show that he does plan to return home within a reasonable time frame. The officers that took him back were nice though. They looked at his passport and let him through without any difficulty.
