Hey guys for those who have approvals you may want to start calling nvc to see if you can get the case number. 1 week after my approval my online status says my case was sent to the department of state. Fingers crossed that the reay of the August approvals will go through in the next couple weeks. Good luck everyone

I got my NOA2 Feb 18th, on Feb 26th I got my status changed that my case was sent to the department of state. I have been calling NVC, and they received my case yesterday March 9th, and the guy told me that now, with the current traffic, it usually takes them about 4 weeks to process and that i should expect the email as soon as they process my case.

Hope this helps, if anyone has any info, please post.

All the best

Hi! Congrats to everyone who recieved their noa2. I recieved mine last week and got a notice last night telling us our case was sent to NVC. I was wondering though, how long does it usually take for you to recieve the hardcopy for the noa2 in the mail? ?

Yeah this process is pretty draining. I live pretty close to my fiancée so we are able to see each other every couple months but it still sucks but I'm grateful we are almost to the end. I'm getting all the other documents prepared like police cert etc because it's valid for 1 year so once it goes to the embassey we will most things completed that will be in packet 3 that way we can just schedule the interview.

Yes, it's hard. We're at 220 days without our NOA2 and we're 4,124 miles apart. At least Lee is coming for a visit next week. Now maybe we should plan a visit to Texas Service Center to shame or bribe them into resolving our petition.

At least he can visit. Ugh we had to have Cole's first birthday party without Scott because of the ESTA fiasco. Ugh I hate being apart :(

Just a quick update on our journey.

During the neverending wait for TSC we figured it would be late May or early June before our interview. So not wanting to spend more time apart we decided to take two weeks to be together and gather our papers and information. As our luck would have it i received an email from Rio this afternoon with our interview date and time. April 7th. :o My flight home is March 23rd then 13 days at home to gather 134 info then back on a plane to Brasil for the interview.

We ve gone from waiting for TSC :clock: to having to run to get papers done in a short :girlwerewolf2xn: period. We are currently trying to get a police certificate from Germany :ranting: which ,so far, has been a major PIA. The German consulate here is saying 3 to 6 weeks for the paper :diablo:

Needless to say, we are excited, nervous, angry, frustrated, happy, pissed off, and very much in love.

It is disappointing to see that things are not changing at Texas and our hearts go out to the people that are still waiting. Nothing we can say or do can make the pain go away. For us this is making us a much stronger couple and has shown that we are right for each other and I hope that all of us can find something positive out of this.

We will let you know how the rest of this goes.

I don't understand your frustration. There are people who filed at the same time as you, yet they still do not have their NOA2.

That is really sad. He's missed too much already. I hope you get together soon.
