I'm wondering, how are you guys planning your wedding ?

We are planning it for august but of course we didn't book anything since we can't be sure of what will happen and when. I found my wedding dress and have been advised to buy it before the end of march to be sure to have it delivered in august.

A part of my family will come to the usa for the wedding. They keep asking me for a date to buy their tickets and set their vacation time at work.

Im pretty sure that by august i should have my visa but there is still the possibility of something happening and the visa obtention being delayed so... I wait which sucks

Did any of you made a gamble and actually booked a precise date, a photographer,a venue...?

I did - but all of my vendors know the situation and so far I have only made securing deposits. On the chance my date does not work out, as long as I reschedule within a calendar year, and they are available, they will apply the deposit to the new date. Out of all my deposits, I have about $250 in deposits that I might lose if I need to move the date, so not too bad in the scheme of everything.

I didn't think that this option of rescheduling without losing all your money was possible. I'll look into that!

Good news guys ... I was sleeping and my fiance woke me up to tell me that our case has been updated ... I ran into the laptop and boom CASE APROVED !!! So excited !!! Noa1 august 27th
