CONGRATS!!!!! I'm happy for you. I'm going thru the same process. My fiance lives in Jamaica and I'm hoping that we get a NOA2 soon. We are planning an August wedding so I am crossing my fingers that he will have his visa by then. Please keep me in the loop with your NVC and interview process.

I called after 10:00PM EST since I heard that 7:00AM to 7:30AM and 10:00PM to midnight is the low traffic time for them. You are right, that is exactly what I did, hang up whenever I heard "Hello, due to the high volume...", and then called again, over and over for about 30 min, and then I heard the different message:"Please listen carefully since our options have changed...", and she said to press #2 only if my application was sent more then 35 days ago... my application was sent Feb 26. so I hung up. Maybe I should have just played dumb, and hit #2 and wait for the representative!? But then representative might categorically reject my inquiry since it is less then 35 days...

I think that they just changed this for July/August filers since the volume is so high, I wouldn't be surprised if they change it to 60 days next time I call.

If anyone has any info on this, please post.

Thanks

The 35 days is BS for most approved I-129f petitions. Ignore it next time.

There is an iOS app called "USCIS Case Tracker" which you can download and look up a load of cases. I don't know how accurate or legal it is but a lot of people seem to use it.

The app is actually a USCIS app so even though it seems not legal it is lol I know bc USCIS kicked me off for a few days, too much searching oops

I got my NOA2 approved Feb 9th. On Feb 25th I called NVC and got my case number and invoice number. Today I tracked it and it got to DR. Hopefully tomorrow it will let me schedule my appointment.

I havent heard anything either. I think us earlier August filers will be of the last to get approved for our month. :/ Reason for my theory of the order they take is, if they care about the average time until approval, it would make sense to finish all mid-month filers first, do end of month filers as needed, and save early filers for when theyre ahead or when the sample size is large enough that it wouldnt make much impact.

Did you also get that "press #2 if your application was sent more then 35 days ago...", or they added that recently?
