Guys, check your status online! We got approved!!!!!!! :dancing:

Nothing yet in mail, no SMS as well.

Oh trust me, I'm checking! Given my luck, I'll probably be the one last to be approved of the August bunch... :(

Hello August filers! Your time has finally come! Be excited for the month ahead. It's OFFICIALLY AUGUST APPROVAL TIME! :)

Thanks. But we said that last month. And they are still busy with July. I see you are a recent filer. I hope TSC speeds up before you get through this dreadful process. There is nothing anyone can say you to even partly prepare you for the frustration, agony and expense of this indescribably cruel and painful, inefficient system. Good luck with your journey.

You are being overly pessimistic. A few August approvals have begun already and that number will increase over ghe next three weeks.

I'm being realistic. I'm not sure when you filed, but if you've been waiting nearly seven months like the rest of us on here, you may have seen hopes being raised and then dashed. You can't predict this. There is no hard and fast pattern to the processing at TSC.

I filed early September. Trust me, 90% of the August filers on this board will have their NOA2 by March 17

How do you arrive at that estimation, that you offer with such certainty? Look, not knocking the value of being positive, but TSC was moved onto July petitions from the last week of December. It's taken them around two months and there are still plenty of July filers still waiting.

From November through early January the government grinds to a halt due to the holidays. Things will move at a normal speed (meaning slow) for the foreseeable future.

I agree. You guys are really pessimistic! I'm planning on a 205 day wait for NOA2 right now and I'm doing just fine! If it's sooner I'll be even happier - thrilled! But until then I'm remaining positive and that's all we can do to support one another :).

I believe things the way they are going at TSC it will take us about 10 months from NOA1 to Visa in hand. If it's sooner, again I will be thrilled!! Maybe the process will speed up... If you look at the data it shows the time to dip quickly at certain months. Let's keep the positivity up.

August filers you are due any day now!!

+1! We did a lot of research beforehand and went into this process expecting it to take more than a year. With that expectation, 6 months seems pretty quick. And honestly, time has flown for us. Going into this with the mindset you have, Charlie, will make the process a ton easier on you guys down the line.

K1 Timeline (TSC): Filed on 8.19.14 | NOA1 on 8.22.14 | NOA2 on 3.2.15 (192 days)

Post NVC: Interview on 5.11.15 (Approved) | Visa in Hand 05.21.15 | PoE 06.05.15

That would bring us up to almost 8 months since filing date... I feel worse now.

The first few months aren't so bad.. but once you hit 5 months every day hurts... when you watch CSC filers getting approved in as little as 10 days then it doesn't matter how objective you try to be... it is extremely difficult. We all try to stay positive because this is our life, our future happiness on the line .

It has been unnecessarily drawn out, obviously, because CSC has proved that and there needs to be an overhaul to prevent that disparity.

I'm happy for you that you are comfortable with the time frames, but accept the fact that we aren't all so 'chirpy' right now.

That being said, for late July/early August filers, I'm wishing you the best and hope that 'now' is our time. We have been through this together for a long time now and I appreciate the support I have received through these months. I think we have all had our down times, and since our circumstances are all different we identify with some more than others ... we are nearly there.. best wishes to you all.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .
