Interesting reply. Have you tried senator Boozman or Cotton? I Just wanted to share what has worked for me and I didn't put anybody down. I did not say i felt better than the rest or put more effort in it than anybody else I am an average citizen. You need to calm down and get yourself together. I don't believe this is a place to insult people. If you don't like what I say don't read it. This process is hard for everybody so no reason to be rude. Good luck to everybody.

Well there you have it. Someone else just got their NOA2 and they filed in August just like you; however they did not contact a Senator. It was a mere coincidence that you received an NOA2 close to the time you were in contact with your senator. I am glad you received your NOA2, but I find it rude of you to think everyone else is so stupid not do anything they think would speed up the process. Calling and bugging a Senator until you are blue in the face does nothing. Suggesting that it "helps" will only cause disappointment and undue frustration when the people you implore to do so face reality and don't see an inch of progress for months on end. You, quite frankly, do not know why yours was approved, and the more likely scenario was that the caseworker appointed to your file is complete with his/her load for June and is working on July and August. That's it. The line of thinking you portray is similar to those that receive their NOA2 a month ahead of schedule and claim the "organization" of their petition caused it when in reality no such thing happened and mere luck/ fate worked its course. Am I mad? No. Annoyed, yes. But do not dismiss my comments as rude just because you do not like what you hear. We are adults and can disagree. Good day to you.

Mech, can you please change your NOA2 date to the correct one, it presently lists you in igor's list as 2-21-15... which is not possible because that is 1 week from now. (this post was on 2-14-15)

Oops I updated from ipad. Its fixed.

Does anyone know what I have to do next?? I want to do everything asap

I dont really know either, but there are two threads - june and july noa2 - that might be helpful to you. Its everybody who got noa2 and is dealing with nvc, medical and stuff like that. I'd post the links, but its not working on this, but should be easy to find - first or second page on the k1 progress forum!

Good luck!

Hey guys. I got my NOA2 in the mail. Something is weird though because I got the paper NOA2 in the mail and it says I was approved Feb. 10th, but when I check my case status online it still just says that my case was received on July 28th (the same thing it said for NOA1).

NO RFE's and I didn't get any texts or emails either, so maybe this could happen with others as well?

I should be happy but Iv'e already decided to move to Japan March 12th and marry there. Do you think cancelling my fiancee visa will cause any trouble in applying for a spouse visa in a couple years?

This could be good news for us. A Federal judge temporarily blocked Obama's immigration executive action, which was supposed to go into effect tomorrow. Maybe TSC will have more time to work on our petitions while this sits on the sideline for a while.

I can hope.

I've been trying to find out if these applications are to be processed at TSC or only at Crystal City. I don't even know if I have the Crystal City info right!

Anyone read anything that might shed some light on this?

I'm feeling pretty miserable today about this whole situation. I had hope when a few people mentioned that the case status website wasn't being updated but that they found NOA2 in the mail. Well, wasn't in my boyfriend's mail. Then someone else got approved, but is canceling their petition - that sucked to think about as the time TSC spent on that application could've been spent on me or someone else's application. Pretty much a whole new level of feeling defeated. I'm sure I'm not alone in this. Sorry to bring the mood down, just not sure where else to express my feelings who understand the situation.
