I actually gave up on this whole process and am moving to Japan at the beginning of March. I just can't wait any longer and he just got a good job there anyway.

I'm keeping my fiancee visa going until I get there just in case! If everything goes smoothly I'll be sure to clear off my timeline so it doesn't mess up anything.

Good luck guys!!!

It's hard to wait without being able to have details and to see other people's cases being expedite and other service centers being soooo much faster and so much more efficient. Specially when we know that we all paid the same amount and for the same service but our turn will come soon. :bonk:

We have been waiting for six months, the worse is behind us now. I mean six months, that's a lot compare to the few weeks / the month or maximum month and a half left to wait. We are sooo close to the end of that visa journey now!

Good news should be coming pretty soon for all of us

does anyone know if calling the Texas Service Center helps?!

No.

Also, if you have high blood pressure, any heart condition, anxiety disorder, or anything other than complete absence of emotion, it is not recommended. So basically, if you have a pulse, I strongly advise against it.

How can you tell exact numbers? Is there a website for this?

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?form=1&visa=1&scenter=3&option=2&sortby=2

shows the last 15 approvals from VJ...which isn't 100% accurate, but should be pretty representative..

I am afraid of this bill hurting us next week:

http://www.politico.com/story/2015/02/congress-out-of-town-dhs-funding-115191.html?hp=t2_r

USCIS falls under DHS. =[

Irrelevant. USCIS gets its funds from chumps like us who file petitions, not from Congress. It's why Congress has no sway with them.
