Thank you all for your kind words and advice. And I have read your story Dizzdemey. Truly saddened about the circumstances that you face but admire your strength and willingness to help others. Appreciate the ear thank you. Tabeak, I truly hope the post NOA2 does not take 3 more months. At least with the Ecuadorian embassy it seems to wrap up fairly quickly taking between a month or two. And msbau764 I know i should make it work to be with her. But I'm in this internal conflict with myself debating whether it is better to be financially secure and ensuring that my fiancé and child have a home, car and savings to arrive to, or if using my savings to simply be with my fiancé is the right thing to do.

being with your fiance is the right thing to do. this is almost one of the few non-negotiable things in life if one has the realistic opportunity. Heck, there is a player that may not play in the Superbowl if his wife goes in labor! Obviously if it means you will be broke and not able to provide for the child, no. but if you need to take out a short-term loan to cover the flight and trip costs or borrow for a familiy member go ahead and do it. And I hate to say this, but in the most god-awful scenario that there is a slight emergency it will be even more expensive for you to rush down there and be with her for whatever reason.

based on your timeline I really do believe your fiance will make it on time.

I keep seeing random August petitions approved and while I'm happy for them, I'm all, "WHY NOT MEEEEEE!". Maybe I should've covered my application in glitter. That random person whose job is just to pick a random one would choose the pretty, shiny one!

My mind thought is to expect to hear something towards the end of February, so those text messages that I am getting are just another text message. If the USCIS text message comes before the end of February then I truly will be surprised and excited. If I hear nothing by the end of February then my new goal will be by the end of March.

Hey there fellow August folks! I quietly stalk this thread pretty much daily. Glad to see some approvals starting to come in! And for everyone else, some words of encouragement... We've all been waiting 6 months, some more, some less. It's frustrating. But always look on the bright side! The last few months have really flown by, though there have been many moments we didn't feel like it. Another couple weeks or even months ain't nothing compared to what we have been through so far! Our time is rapidly approaching. And we all know it'll be worth it in the end!

Keep your chins up - we are almost there!

K1 Timeline (TSC): Filed on 8.19.14 | NOA1 on 8.22.14 | NOA2 on 3.2.15 (192 days)

Post NVC: Interview on 5.11.15 (Approved) | Visa in Hand 05.21.15 | PoE 06.05.15

Yes, the wait is very frustrating especially with the Valentines Day coming I will be spending it alone??. I pray that the remaining of February will bring us good news.
