Thank you..I guess they are starting with the August filers now!!!!

Yes they are! TSC is picking up the pace..

Sorry to burst your bubble but considering they are not even halfway done with July this is more likely a random August approval.

Yes, but that's how TSC works. I guess all we have to do is wait to see if others are going to get approved.

Sadly, I do agree with Maria. I am happy for everyone who gets reasonably close to the supposed 5 months (and the OP was even above that with 163d!), but I don't see any evidence yet that TSC is getting their act together. Not while there are still June filers (230d +) waiting...

I am just trying to convince myself that everyday will make my own waiting period shorter - though the goalpost keeps moving further out it seems. Average NOA2 time frames are now 210 days-ish. They were 190-200 when I joined this site a month ago... :clock::cry:

My fiancé is approaching 3 months pregnant and our day counter since starting this visa process is at 172. I'm losing my mind because it seems like July is still getting processed. I am terrified that we will have to spend the entire pregnancy apart or that I will have to put severe financial strain on myself just to be with my fiancé. Do you guys think we will hear something soon? I've ran my own numbers and it seems that the average day counter is at 190-210. Or maybe I am eligible to be an expedited case? I can't stand to even think that I may very well not be around for my fiances pregnancy. I don't know what the proper course of action is. TSC has my life in their hands. That is a terrible and scary statement onto itself isn't it....?

From doing quite a bit of forum snooping and some previous filers also telling me, apparently a pregnancy is not enough of a reason to receive and expedition :( I feel your pain! My fiance and I aren't expecting, but I'm very much in a time crunch as well! I need to know what's up and I need to either have my fiancé here by August or be in the US in August because our universities start by then and it's a crazy tight schedule.. If I can't get an answer by August I might have to cancel this whole thing and just get married in Germany and stay until we eventually graduate and then file for cr-1.

I feel with you, but no one can tell you one way or the other....unfortunately, pregnancy is not an acceptable expedite reason.

I do think you should have a chance to be there for the birth - lets say another 30d for NOA-2, then 30d for NVC, 60d for consulate/interview/visa in hand. That means you get there around the 8th month of pregnancy.

Make sure you have all docs required for the remainder of the process. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

No unfortunately pregnancies does not make you eligible for an expedite. If it was I bet there would be a lot of pregnancies happening right now :P

I don't want to get your hopes up, but this was the situation I was in. This is why my fiancée ESTA was revoked too. Our baby will be 11 months soon....and no visa. Plus, he hasn't been allowed to visit until the visa is approved. It's BS. He hasn't seen him since he was born, and this will be his only child :( so no....they won't expedite for pregnancy. I'm here to listen though if you need an ear having been in your shoes.

You will be fine. I am at 143 and my fiance is about 5 months along. Worst case scenario your child is born in another country and you bring her back a month after the child's birth. As far as the financial strain, it is a one-time deal and you will have to make it work to be with your fiance. It just sounds scary because you are far away and helpless. I resigned myself to the fact my son will be born in another country. Planning makes it easier.

Thank you all for your kind words and advice. And I have read your story Dizzdemey. Truly saddened about the circumstances that you face but admire your strength and willingness to help others. Appreciate the ear thank you. Tabeak, I truly hope the post NOA2 does not take 3 more months. At least with the Ecuadorian embassy it seems to wrap up fairly quickly taking between a month or two. And msbau764 I know i should make it work to be with her. But I'm in this internal conflict with myself debating whether it is better to be financially secure and ensuring that my fiancé and child have a home, car and savings to arrive to, or if using my savings to simply be with my fiancé is the right thing to do.

It is a struggle, especially financially keeping 2 homes up at this point. If you ever need to vent or talk, please let me know!! It does help!!
