Only expedited cases so far, from what I can see. But June is mostly complete and July is starting to roll, so hopefully soon. We are also right at the beginning of the month so hopefully they process August in the appropriate order.

Most of those June filers haven't been online for several months so I think they are pretty much done. Maybe the Tier 2's have been rejecting phone calls to stay on task and that's ok so long as they keep moving. It'll be interesting to see how quickly they get through July.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

Just received NOA I-797. Fiance visa approved as of January 9, 2015. Was submitted in August 2014 and receipted August 26 from the Dallas lockbox where it was sent to California Service Center for processing.

This is the second NOA received and with a different date of approval. The first I-797 said the visa application was approved October 16 and sent to NVC. Repeated checks via email to NVC got no response until last week.. No evidence of this approval or accompanying petition.

I've mailed all copies of email and I-797 approval from October 16 to my senator. They are looking into this. Just spoke to one of the office people Thursday and they found it strange that I should get a second approval notice.

And, incidentally, they both have the same receipt number.

This is indeed strange. Maybe it got mixed up in transit from USCIS to NVC, if approved since October and your service center is right on point. Hope your Senator will help you out with this. Good luck on your journey.

Hi and welcome jesscb, at this stage looks like they have pretty much finished with June filers and getting on with July though it can be a bit random so anything can happen. Hopefully its not too much of a wait.

So after the first round of approvals, I know we have interviews, fiancé will have medical appt and need a police report or something like that. What else? What do we need other then financial support and proof of relationship for our interviews. Time to get prepared!!!

Yes you're right is time to get prepared. Once approved and you get your case number from NVC. You will need to fill out DS-160 online and print your confirmation page. I am getting ready to file my taxes, need that 1040. Hope to see more approvals this week after the MLK holiday.

I was unaware of the DS-160. I just went and looked. Says there is a fee. Is this in addition to the fee we have already paid? (Assuming so) If so, how much?

I think the fee is $240, yes in addition to the $340 already paid. I know right! This process is not cheap. Is all worth it at the end for love.
