AOS Journey: 169 days from received to GC in hand (NSC)

Does everyone else get the same ?

"On August 20, 2014, we received your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number ****, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by September 19, 2014, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."

Yea can at least check my case status again that's something.

Yes I thought the same... felt like someone had turned a small light on at least and we're not totally in the dark. The fact that they notified everyone has no doubt upset a lot of people hoping that it is a decision. There are still a lot of July filers waiting.. I think we have a bit of a wait yet.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

Did you create a account thru the new website and turn text and email alerts on? Also could be they are alerting thru a certain order or something.

I did read a couple of weeks ago about July filers who suddenly could see their status. Whether they fixing and updating the system functioning a piece at a time I have no idea how it works.. but when I read that at the time I did check ours and it was still not viewable and all felt pretty hopeless.... but now today it is. I still think we have a bit of a wait but it feels more hopeful. I'm seeing it in weeks rather than months now.

I got multiple texts and 1 email today, but the website still doesn't show a history, not even the NOA1 date. The only thing I see different is the last date the file was touched has changed to today's date.

Service Center : Texas Service Center
