We're much sadder. According to Google Maps, there is 4,124 miles between our houses. At least Lee gets to come visit for Christmas and we'll have some time together. Our five months is over at the start of January when she heads back over to Scotland.

Then I can really start whining at USCIS for missing their stated goal.

.. and we're twice as sad (if that's possible... cos I know how you feel).... because we are around 8,500 miles apart.. but my question is, since you have the same noa1 date..

looking at the overall picture any estimation of when we are likely to hear something?

I'm struggling with it because there are June approvals coming through and now a few July ones. I keep looking at Igor's list but then how many of those are people that consider they are TSC because they sent their petition to Texas Lockbox. I'm hoping for some time in December ... and as vague as that sounds at least it is within a 4-5 week time frame. what do you think?

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

Hi, this is William.

My estimate is that we won't hear a thing until January. Even then, we won't hear anything without some prompting. I plan on calling USCIS on the 5 month mark and start questioning as to the status of our case. That's the goal USCIS set. Texas is running slower, but I plan to be a pain in their ### as much as possible with the goal of having them process our petition just to shut me up.

Relying upon them for good will or a desire to do their jobs in a timely manner doesn't seem like a strategy that produces results. I may try my Congress or Senators at the five month mark, too.

Hi William,

Yes, I think you're probably right about that. A few months ago I started thinking about December but realistically I now don't think it will happen. Even if we were transferred to CSC, that's not going to happen overnight although I see some people are being approved through them within a few days... non expedited.. What a mess.

Ok.. well we can all just wait and hope until it reaches a point where we can legitimately start asking questions.

... and thank you for your reply

Hi there and welcome to the thread.

I notice there have been a few TSC approvals around mid July in the last few days which is looking better. Let's hope they keep things moving, it has already been a long journey.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file

Hi AMII.. yes I've been following the June and July threads to see whats happening ahead of us... that's where I saw the July approvals.. around mid July. Igor's list is not so accurate but gives a general idea The approvals definitely aren't done in a strict order but I'm just thinking that even if they are just a few random approvals.. we are getting closer.

The timeline thing has been out for a couple of weeks or so... I can't read mine either. I haven't tried calling yet, but I think most people are being told that the system is down and they can't give any information. They seem pretty random still so what I hope for and what we get are two very different things.

here's hoping.. for all of us.

From what I've gathered from previous comments, this is an issue that started about a month ago. They keep saying it will be fixed the next day, but it's been a month, if not more.

I think the only reliable way right now to see if you've been approved is to just wait for your NOA2 in the mail. I predict December will be for processing mid June/July applications and January will be for July/August applications. If we're all unlucky, it might hit into February given the way things are going.

Absolutely.. they're all over the place.. its just nice to know that with a few TSC July filers being processed we are not so far off and it has come down to a number of weeks rather than several months.

Hey guys !!!!!

my fiance just got lots of text messages and an email stating that our case has been updated, we checked online and it shows the same message we got when we recived the NOA1.

Is anyone else experiencing the same ?

Well we are guessing that the USCIS finally fixed their website and now everyone else is able to check the case status online.

Good luck to everyone here on this long journey !!!!!

They just fixed the website, so everyone is getting this email June, July, August etc.... it doesnt mean they are working on your case :(

Agreed. We got the same notices. I called to check and the agent saw no activity. All he would tell me is that we're within the normal processing time.
