Well mine was never at TSC it was at the lockbox then re routed to CSC

May I ask why you put TSC as your center and then said you were transferred? You know that is incorrect yes? It also affects TSC timelines and not CSC and you also appear under TSC on Igor's list. Just thought I would mention that to you seeing how you understand you were never at TSC. :) Mind correcting your timeline for us please?

I just got notified a August 14 NOA1 filer just got their NOA2 (transferred to CSC). THERE'S HOPE, GUYS.

The filer you are referring to (e & j) incorrectly stated their petition was transferred to CSC from TSC. They were actually CSC filers to begin with.

There are 2 others I spotted just now while looking at Igor's:

Tanya & Renan (July filer) False transfer

Ub & Ka (June filer) Another false transfer.

Only April and May filers (not all) were transferred to CSC between August 8th and 12th. Of course, it is possible that someone was transferred for some other reason but that is highly unlikely and extremely rare. Many people incorrectly assume they were transferred to CSC because they sent their petition to the Texas lock box. This has been going on since the beginning of time and won't change any time soon so keep that in mind while looking at your estimated timeline.

Why is TSC slow compared to other centers?

The primary reason is because VSC sent all their I-129f petitons to TSC last year when they stopped working on them. That put Texas way behind immediately and they never ,managed to catch up. Another reason is that they focused on I-130 back log a few months ago which also slowed them down. The recent transfer to CSC may be just the first of many to come if they continue to <censored> so bad.. There is also speculation (but no proof) that TSC is working on the illegal immigration issues on their border.

I don't know if anyone is else is as obsessive as I am about checking the processing times, but it looks like TSC is speeding ahead. They just did 6 days worth of visas in one day. Fingers crossed that it stays this way!

I'm mainly watching Igor's list but because so many people don't update their timeline its difficult to get a true picture.... but it was slow and now picked up in the last couple of days...so something is happening.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

Sorry, I'm still new to all this... where do you see those processing times? I went to uscis.gov but I just see where it says 5.9 months.

If you go to the USCIS website to check the status of your case, you will see a section at the bottom where you can check the "official" processing times for the respective centers. Right now, it is showing 5.9 months as of August 31st. It was 6 months as of July 31st so there is some improvement. I believe there will be a gradual improvement each month for the next few as approvals have been coming through a little faster lately. Try not to get wrapped up in the "unofficial" estimates you see on Igor's list as the data is rather inaccurate and speculative because so many people incorrectly fill out data, expedites skew the numbers and many people don't bother to log back on and update their timelines after they get approved. It does balance out somewhat though and will give you a rough estimate but don't trust it completely.

Also, the official word from TSC is now March 4th as the processing date (files they are working on). This is also inaccurate as we are seeing many May (non transfers), and some June, filers being approved now.

I attached a screen shot of the area on the website I was referring to in order to assist you in locating it. Good luck! :)

hmmm.. yes its all a bit hit and miss.. there are no 'real' stats other than those that have gone before.. the rest is hypothetical.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

Also, the official word from TSC is now March 4th as the processing date (files they are working on).

Where do you see March 4th? The only processing time I saw yesterday was May 8th and today's is May 12th.
