A person, as intelligent as you, will quickly recognize that using two isolated occurrences, hardly speaks to trends or overall acceptance of homosexuals by either religion. There are several christian denominations in the US, that ordain openly gay clergy and there are many hundreds of openly gay clergy in the US.

If we expand your hypothesis to a much larger sampling of the worlds population. Let's compare the US to Saudi Arabia. In the US there are many hundreds of openly gay clergy, however in Saudi Arabia, being openly gay will garner you punishment raging from flogging all the way to stoning.

So using your sub-par logic and 2 isolated incidents, you asset a logical conclusion. Surely using a sampling population that is not laughable, you would agree with the same logic.

About two years ago, when I first joined here, someone posted about Muslims not being able to eat at Subway. They were kicked out for no good reason. This happened in Louisiana, I believe. Of course one of the members had to come in and start hating. I tried to defuse the situation by being nice. He asked what were the Quran's views on gays. I posted the verse (forbidden) then turned around and posted the Bible's verse(almost word for word the same). That's when it turned nasty.

I think that Isalm has a much bigger problem with uneducated fundamentalist buttwipes than Christianity does, although Chrtanity has it's share.

I attribute this to the fact that Islam is much more prevalent in more uneducated poorer countries, where people use it to suppress the masses and it's part of their Govt. I think if you had the strict separation of church and state in Islamic countries , I think the radicals would become much less radical
