A Florida man accused of killing his friend over romantic jealousy looked to his iPhone for help in hiding the body, detectives say.

“I need to hide my roommate,” Pedro Bravo told the application Siri, authorities allege.

The app presented Bravo with potential options such as swamps, reservoirs, metal foundries and dumps, according to a screen-grab presented in court Tuesday.

Detectives say he chose another spot to dump University of Florida student Christian Aguilar's body: a forest. They testified they found the Siri search on Bravo’s phone.

Bravo, 20, is on trial for Aguilar's 2012 slaying. Authorities allege that Bravo drugged and strangled his former friend inside his SUV, a slaying prosecutors say was fueled by jealousy over Aguilar’s dating his ex-girlfriend from high school, Erika Friman.

Bravo’s lawyers say the screen grab that shows the Siri search presented in court was among hundreds of pictures on Bravo’s phone, and there’s no way to know whether he asked that question.

Meanwhile, medical examiner Martha Burt testified Tuesday about fragments of duct tape found on the victim’s body.

“The tape appeared to be looped around both wrists,” Burt said.

The jury heard the accused killer Monday, when his interrogation tapes were played in court. In that interrogation, Bravo admitted to police that he met Aguilar on the night of his death.

“He got out of the car and I fought him and after that, I remember going in the car and I remember seeing him in my rearview mirror while I was driving away,” Bravo said during the interrogation.

Prosecutors agree that Bravo drove away, but they allege that he did so with Aguilar’s body in the back of his SUV, later stashing it in a remote field.

Aguilar’s body was discovered 22 days after he went missing.

Bravo, who has pleaded not guilty, sat stone-faced during Tuesday’s testimony.

Prosecutors last week revealed a photograph in court of the belt they say Bravo used to kill Aguilar. Authorities have also focused on a sketch pad they say Bravo filled with hate-filled messages.

“No one will stop me,” he wrote in one passage, prosecutors allege. “I will get out of Miami and into Gainesville by January 2013 and I will get her back.

All I want to know is, did Siri help him. And if so, we need to ban Siri.

Everyone knows a forest is a terrible place to hide a body, there are MUCH better locations readily available. If he listened to Siri about that, he's a fool.

as

any Boy Scout with 2 years of camping experience would know where to hide the body.

Relying on technology is just too easy, these days.

But if I ever wanted to hide a body..... I would go to one of those places where they just put 10 miles of sewer line thru a swamp. Dig the soft dirt down about 6 feet and be down. Think about it, 10 miles of fresh dug dirt, with lots of construction tracks all around in the middle of a swamp.
