TSC April/May filers who have NOT been transferred

We just received the electronic notice of our NOA2 yesterday. They sent the SMS to me late at 9:45 in the evening, a time when i'd thought that the TSC would be closed. Just erroneously assumed that they worked from 11AM to 2PM, with a 90 minute lunch break.

I was wondering if i'd done anything incorrectly, which could have caused delays... but it seems like that wasn't the case. My ex-wife is also an immigrant, and we've been divorced for years after a six year marriage- but that didn't seem to affect anything. I'd sent only a handful of pictures along with a copy of my passport and other proof that we'd met, which thankfully was okay. I wasn't able to remember my ex-wife's A number, and indicated as such- but that also wasn't an issue.

On to the NVC stage now, i'm hoping that goes quickly. Once that finishes, people here say that the US consulate in Frankfurt is one of the friendlier ones.... I hope that holds true!

It's the not knowing which is the killer, and the utter frustration of dealing with an entirely arbitrary and unaccountable system.

This.

Seems everything went smooth and hoping it will go smoother in next stages.

Can anyone plz reply the next steps, just quick notes. What is the process after TSC approves I129F.

How long will it take till the final interview :clock:

http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1flow

Begin with Step 4.

http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1tips

There are other guides available also and you might want to visit the embassy website for Pakistan to see what specific requirements they have.

The length of time for the interview varies from embassy to embassy and what their specific procedures are. What I have seen on this site is a range from ~5 weeks to 3 months for the interview after receiving NOA2. It really depends on how fast everything can be scheduled at your embassy.

A couple of months ago, someone posted the following prep notes. He went above and beyond what is required, but it will give you a good idea of what is needed and how much work you still have ahead of you:

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Visa Interview Prep:

I attached the Consulate Appointment Confirmation letter from email in previous post.

As can be seen, it does not say "Original" Affidavit of Support, therefore I think it may be ok to have a copy of I-134.

I sent an original.

Items I had as the Affidavit of Support:

1 - Affidavit Of Support Cover Letter.doc

2 - I-134.pdf

3 - Naturalization Certificate - 1 - Front.jpg

4 - Naturalization Certificate - 2 - Back.jpg

5 - Letter From Employer.jpg

6 - Letter From Bank (Savings).jpg

7 - Letter From Bank (Checking).jpg

8 - Paystub 1 (May 02).jpg

9 - Paystub 2 (May 16).jpg

10 - Paystub 3 (May 30).jpg

11 - Bank Statement (Checking And Savings, March 2014).pdf

12 - Bank Statement (Checking And Savings, April 2014).pdf

13 - Bank Statement (Checking And Savings, May 2014).pdf

14 - W-2 (2011).pdf

15 - W-2 (2012).pdf

16 - W-2 (2013).pdf

17 - Tax Return Transcript (2011).pdf

18 - Tax Return Transcript (2012).pdf

19 - Tax Return Transcript (2013).pdf

20 - Mortgage Statement (May).pdf

As you can see, I went a little overboard! :)

Good Luck!

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

One thing I want to point out, and I cannot emphasize this enough, is to have your fiance take EVERYTHING that is required to the interview and nothing less. There are people on this site that will tell you that this isn't needed or that isn't needed or I didn't do this or that. Ignore them completely. Just because they got lucky on that particular day with that particular CO, does not mean you will. A 221g or denial is not worth it after the long wait already endured don't you think? Better to play it safe and show up with everything...and more. Good luck!!
