Paperwork received may 19, got NOA1 sent out

Email saying on August 11th i129f transferred to new office which would have full jurisdiction over case

Then status change on 1st September saying application transferred and now being processed???

What does all that mean and why is it saying transferred twice? Didn't say to where either :( I'm confused lol

That is great news Lilay we got an RFE 15/09 hopefully its a minor thing good news is we know we are close to a decision, told my fiancé i'm kinda glad we were not transferred doesn't really look like there was any advantage to it all. All the best for the rest of your journey wont be long and you will be with your loved on (L)Hopefully roger your NOA2 wont be too far away

We're approved!!! Just got our text.

Just this morning we heard back from our Congressman's office (after over a month!) that it was "delayed due to background checks issues" (sic) -- which seeing as it was within the normal processing time, I don't know why they would call it delayed --and that it was with an officer for final adjudication now. And we got the approval text the same night!

I guess the CSC transfers must be making a difference at TSC. Good luck to those who're waiting for their news. Stay strong.

Thanks, guys. This has been a singularly harrowing experience, and I hope the rest of the process goes through smoothly. It's the not knowing which is the killer, and the utter frustration of dealing with an entirely arbitrary and unaccountable system. In the end I suppose my application was approved before the stated timeframe, and I must count myself lucky that I didn't get picked out to be delayed and dragged through the long grass of security checks. But I'm thinking of all those who have been - people whose stories I have followed over the last few months; whose lives were/are at the mercy of an opaque, arrogant, and arbitrary system. Someday maybe that will change, but in the meantime I'm hoping we all get lucky.

They just updated our case at USCIS. They mailed RFE. I know we will see what they asked but does anyone know if this is a good sign :-??

Feeling happy and sad too.

The good news is they touched your file and you should be approved soon after you reply to the rfe. The bad news is you're a bit delayed due to the rfe.
