Good news! I'm current and my case number is 2015AF00007xxx, but the sad part is that with the current ebola situations in my country and most offices are being closed down since the country (Liberia) is in a state of emergency...I'm thinking how will I be able to get some of my documents out. I was due to go there last week but was adviced to wait a little. If this doesn't work out well, can I reschedule my case? And how many months before I will be called for my interview? WiIl the US Embassy in Liberia do anything about this? haven't gotten a 2nd Notification letter though. Your advices will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Where are you supposed to have your interview? Liberia or Ghana?

I would not advise rescheduling interviews, these have led to issues in the past, although being current so early it may not be an issue.

If you can attend the interview (ie it is not in Liberia) I would do so and they may put you on AP (administrative processing) pending receipt of the documents you need that you will send to the embassy when you can get them.

You will probably get your notification letter by the end of this week or next week.

Thanks Susie, I won in Ghana but forwarded my case to Liberia which is my country of birth, I wanted to be interviewed in Liberia since I had to get my school docs from there that is the WAEC. I passed in all other grades except English which is a major and supposed to do write the test this month. I am also hoping to get the results before oct. I happy but sad within, will take your advice by not rescheduling my interview, I write and speak English very well but don't know how come I was told that I didn't make a passing grade for English.

Is passing English in the exam a requirement to prove you meet the education requirement? If so there is no point doing the interview before that as you would be denied outright, so if that is the case then I would suggest a reschedule.

is it possible US embassies deny applicant regarding ebola situation?!

If you have Ebola absolutely .... It is definitely a communicable disease of public health significance... But if you have it you should be in hospital in quarantine not an embassy. If you don't have it you should be ok, albeit don't be surprised if travel restrictions get put in place until it's under control.
