What does AP mean??

It stands for "Administrative Processing". And it basically means all the stuff that's not involving your interview. All the paperwork before, and after, and any processing related to any 221gs that you might get.

Is your category CR1? So she doesn't have her visa yet? Do you think the long AP is caused by working is KSA for years? Im a bit worried now cause Im thinking that the cause of delay is that i stayed in KSA For years.

Sorry I posted this in wrong forum..

Hello everyone! I too is in administrative processing state since my interview last June 16. I have already sent all the required documents last August 19 and it was received by Stanley and associates the following day. Since then, no status change for me. I would like to know if they do the processing of the visa over at Stanley's in Makati or do they still bring it to the us embassy?

Another question is, I've been trying to call the IV unit at their 3012000 but all I get is a recorded message. What number do I need to call so I could make a follow up? Thank you so much to anyone who can help me.

Hi.. They will forward it to the embassy because the CO who interviewed will be the same CO who will review the case, Im under AP too since july 11, they received my CENOMAR doc the 22 but intil now the status is still AP, that number is right you just need to dial 0 after that then rhe customer rep will answer and tell her to connect tou to the IV section and you can talk to a lady there and she is able to give you updates, but make sure you call there early in the morning like 8-9 .
