Hello,

I've seen several posts about receiving two receipt numbers for the I-751 ROC form. I only received one I-797, however, my biometrics appointment notice listed two receipts numbers. One was for I-751 and the other for CRI89. After doing some research online, it seems that CRI89 is an some sort of internally used number for USCIS. I didn't really think much of it at first.

When I went to my biometrics appointment (I actually did a walk-in a week in advance) the employees seemed to be confused by my appointment notice having two receipt numbers. After checking in, the receptionist had to check with a supervisor for how to handle it. After getting the approval to move forward, the employee actually doing the finger printing went to check on this again because he was not sure of which receipt number to attach to my captured info. He asked me what else I had applied for in addition to removal-of-conditions. When I told him nothing, he then decided to just attach both receipt numbers and said it shouldn't affect anything.

This doesn't like a big deal and I'm sure everything will process smoothly. But I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience.

I just got my biometrics notice yesterday, and I too noticed the 2 reference numbers on my letter. I know when I went to check status online, I used the first number listed (i-751 assumedly) and was able to check my status online (initial review, obviously) so I would think that the original I-751 would be the number USCIS would use, but who knows....

Sorry, can't be much help but I thought it was weird with the 2 numbers on my NOA too...

I was able to check the status online with the I-751 receipt number also. I'd be curious to see if this creates the same confusion when you go for your appointment.
