In regards to Proof of Having Met in Person in the Past Two Years, I have lots of photos for proof but understand they only need 2-5.

Do they have to be printed on glossy photo paper or is it acceptable for them to be printed out of an average inkjet printer?

Photos are only secondary evidence to accompany primary evidence of meeting such as passport stamps, boarding passes, receipts, etc. They can be printed out on plain paper.

I did the following...

1. Printed each picture on regular printer paper (on high quality printer)

(Also, it's pretty cheap to print photos in 1 hour at cvs or walgreens)

2. Wrote descriptions about each picture (me&her at such place, family dinner, dinner with friends, etc.)

3. Sign and dated each picture (may be overkill, but I did it).

4. Sent 10 pictures

As stated above, you need solid proof that you were actually in the country. It would be evident from the photos that you were together, but you can't verify the dates on a photo. A boarding pass, airline tickets, visa stamps(big plus) show that you were actually in the country.

We sent in a whole bunch of stuff when we did the K1, like money transfers, care packages, emails/call records, you name it. It's not usually required to send so much stuff, but we figured the more the better.

You can send actual photos (printed on photo paper) or you can just print them out on regular paper. Either or is acceptable.

We just had our pictures printed at Target, took less than an hour and cost just a couple dollars. The pictures were date stamped from the camera, and on the back I wrote the location and tried to write the names of everyone in the picture. I got lazy after writing on the first few pictures and the rest of them only had the location on the back. I sent about 12 pictures, they were inserted into a ziplock bag that was stapled to a blank sheet of paper. This is how we sent in the pictures, and we had absolutely no problems (approval in 13 days).
