Good evening,

I got approved on July 24th and I never received any notification through USCIS Case status stating that it has been shipped to NVC or DOS. I Keep in touch with 2 of the other December filers like me, that also got approved on July 24th and their case has already been shipped.. Today, I persuaded to my fiance to call USCIS for us to get an answer. I personally thought my case has been shipped to NVC/DOS without them updating our case status but unfortunately, USCIS Tier 2 Immigration Officer told him that it is still at TSC and that it takes 30 business days. Why is that? Why is it taking them so long to ship my case? Why are other cases that received their Approvals on same day as me and even those who got approved days later, already receive their Notification that it is on their way to NVC or that it was received by NVC already. I am confused and heated! :ranting::cry:

Well, our case was approved on 12-3-12 by USCIS, it reached the NVC on 1-3-13. My cousin's case was approved March last year and the NVC received it in April. I don't know how they do it or in what order, but it can take a month just to get to the NVC in my experience.

This does not constitute legal advice.

Hi Kati, my application was approved on 6/26 and did not ship out until 7/16, so it took 20 days! People that were approved around me already had petitions on their way to their consulates by then! I did receive email and a text notification when it was forwarded though. Oh, and it got to the NVC 7/21 and I got the case number that same evening, so it took 3 business days to get there.

I got NOA2 on July 25, got a notice from USCIS that it went to NVC on August 5, and as of 2 minutes ago, NVC still hasn't gotten it and they say it takes 30 business days to get it. Got my first rude NVC person though! The last few have been nice. Oh well. I'll call again tomorrow night.

I to was approved on the 24th, and my case is unknown. When I called a week ago Tier 2 told me that NVC told them to allow 60 days because of all the resent approvals. Then I called NVC and they keep telling me allow 4-6 weeks. Today NVC still has not received my case {so they say}, USCIS said they don't know if it has been sent or not, but to allow 90 days :ranting: For what?!?!...to snail mail a set of papers?!?! So on with a service request I went. I was told they have until the 27th to respond but it may be sooner so check back at the end of the week. This is ridiculous so I feel ya!

OMG I seriously thought I was alone in this process. Not, that I'm glad that you haven't heard any good news ,but for knowing that am not left alone, and that someone shares the same pain.Lol! When my fiance called, and asked to speak to a tier 2 Immigration officer, the officer then told him that our case was at TSC. I don't know how they know but its confusing. Sometimes I feel like it has been sent out because of the comparissons I make with others who got approved same day or days after success. So the Immigration officer told him to give them 30 days! Which tomorrow it will be 20 days for us. Can you believe it? So I'm giving them until Monday 25th. Btw, I also put up an online E-Request, hope that I hear something soon and you do too :). We should definetly keep in touch!!
