I could have sworn at one point I saw a post about the certain days being for certain things at St Luke's in Manila when it comes to exams, but after looking through 40 pages of forums and about ten websites I give up >< Does any one have any information pertaining to the best day to go, or if certain days are for certain things? Thank you in advance ^_^

Not sure that there is such a thing as a best day...try Tuesday...Your first day is for most of your Med Exam...2nd day...test results and immunization, unless you have immunization records and they determine that you don't need any other immunizations. Basically - it's a 2 day process. Unless you have to go for a sputum test...then...hmmm...all depends.

There aren't any "certain" days for anything there...you're at the mercy of SLIC. Whatever the determine...there's no argument. But, as I said before...there aren't any certain days. While this may sound personal...don't go while on one's period. Keep track of what date she had her last period. She will be asked several times!!! FYI!!! I'm sure that others will confirm this. Best to go within a few days after... There's a lot of concern for pregnancies.

Two-day process so don't have your first day be on Friday....if you do, then you will have to wait until Monday for the second day. So make sure your first day is any weekday other than Friday. Also make sure you don't go on a day that is a Philippine holiday, as they do close on Federal holidays.

Ah okay. Hmmm ... not sure what I thought I saw in the past, but it seems it doesn't matter. Thank you for the replies. She'll go this week and interview is the 25th! Unfortunately we'll be waiting on her CoC from Singapore still >< I had no idea how long that process would take, but at least we are getting closer. :)

Many on here say Thursday is a good day to go. As long as you don't have minor children. No need to be in line at 4am, we got there 6-6:30 after the doors were opened and the line was inside already. Didn't seem to make the day any shorter to be early.

But doing the pre-registration we do recommend. Gets you to skip a step or two at the start.

Bring a book. A thick one. You're gonna be waiting, a lot.

The best day to go is any day that ends in "day". Like Mon-day or Tues-day Et cetera. 1942.gif You will need, in most cases, two days to complete SLEC. Yes some have completed the exam and vaccinations in one day, but those are the ones who have "all their ducks in a row" as it is rare that exams are completed in one day. Children should not attend on Fri-day's because they need at least three days to conclude their TB skin test. Adults who do their exam on Fri-day will find that they will need to return for vaccinations on Mon-day if they cannot finish in one day. So there is no delay in your interview results at USEM, be sure to allow at least a week for the results to arrive prior to your interview.

IMHO, plan on any day that works for you because in the end it really doesn't matter.

Thursday. There should be few people there with children on this day (the process with children is a 3-day event so most are only there Monday - Wednesday)

I went on a Thurs, arrived there at around 5:30am, was done by 9:30am and got my results at 3pm. I think it also depends on the number of people who take the test on that day. Pre-register online to make the process a bit faster and make sure that you have all the requirements on hand

Hiedy went on Monday. We had planned for 2 days, but she forgot the confirmation page so she had to go back on Thursday. They were closed on Wednesday. They did all the shots and her xray on Monday though.

I believe they are closed on Friday. At least they won't do the TB test on Friday because it has to be read in 2 days.
