Hey all! I just had a quick question that I cant find the answer to. My Fiance has his visa now and we are crossing the border from Canada into the States on Friday. Do we need anything besides the visa for him to enter? We just want to make sure we have everything we need so that we do not have any issues. Thanks so much!

Passport/Visa and the unopened packet.

"present to the CBP officer your passport with visa and your unopened/sealed packet containing your documents. Travelers should review important information about admissions and entry requirements on the CBP website under Travel."

If you are moving your fiances things with you, have a general list prepared of the items they are bringing to the states. They might ask about that stuff or not - depends on the agent.

Congrats and I wish you well as you continue your journey! :)

Bring your passport with visa in it, the sealed envelope your consulate gave or mailed to you after the interview and just in-case i would bring your medical documents you needed for your consulate interview.

Prepare for a long line and then have your documents ready to hand over. Diana didn't have to answer many questions, they just took her stuff and fingerprints then stamped her passport and sent her onward.

I wouldn't fret too much, it all depends on which POE you are coming through. Houston's is pretty nice, JFK is probably the worst. Good luck!
