Earlier, I had asked some questions about the affidavit of support and didn't get any response from anyone here but I really need some help because my aunt has received an RFE with regards to her joint sponsor.

A quick summary of her case: my aunt is filing for her 2 children who each have 2 dependents accompanying them whenever they are approved. Basically there will be an household size of 7. Originally, I thought I made enough money to be her joint sponsor but I realized I didn't so I got my cousin to do it instead.

The RFE for my cousin is below:

[x] Please include a photocopy of the principal applicant's I-864 and I-864A (if applicable) for each accompanying
dependent listed in Part 3 of the I-864 and Part 2 of the I-864A (if applicable). You do not need to send copies of
supporting documents for your accompanying dependents.
[x]
In Part 1. Basis for Filing Affidavit of Support, please correct the following...

In Part 6. Sponsor's Income and Employment, please correct the following...
[x] Item 5. You must enter your current individual annual income. This means the amount of money you expect to earn
during the current calendar year.
[x] Item 10. The current annual household income must equal the sum of items 5, 6.c., 7.c., 8.c., and 9.c.
[x] Items 13.a.1. The income you enter must match the total (gross) income reported on your most recent Federal
income tax return. If you filed Form 1040EZ, use the adjusted gross income instead.

My queries/concerns:

They say we should include a photocopy of the principal's applicant's I-864 for each accompanying dependent listed in Part 3...But I'm confused by this requirement. Are they saying that for each child of the principal applicant that I should photocopy that principal applicant's I864?

With regards to Part 6, the joint sponsor is married and lives with his wife but we filled out the form with only his pay stubs, citizenship proof and job contract only because he didn't want to submit his wife's income info (his income far exceeds the poverty limit for the corresponding household size).

They do file taxes jointly as well but we didn't complete a I-864A with original application package and they didn't ask for one with the RFE. In the RFE, the problem is that the gross income on the I864 form was different from that on their most recent tax transcript because I subtracted the wife's income and only used his. Should I just put their combined gross income on the corrected I864 or should I write a letter explaining the discrepancy and let the old amount stay?

Also, after reading up several threads on this site I was under the impression that a married joint sponsor should always send in a I864A, is this TRUE?

Please guys, I need your advice because their priority date will soon become current. Thanks in advance.

For first question YES. you make photocopy of I864 for how ever many people are in I130.

For second part you put exactly what is listed in their tax return. and send copy of last three year tax return and you should be good.

I had to do exactly same. I didn't add wife's name or any paper but joint sponser files tax return married jointly.

Also had to send copy of i864 (three copy) one for each person coming to usa.

Thanks for the response. Just to clarify with regards to the joint sponsor and a principal applicant: I would have to submit 3 I-864 forms, i.e., one original form and then then 2 copies for the two kids?
