So we filed end of June. Just got notified that we're in interview scheduling stage, which I think means our interview has not been scheduled yet but will be 'soon'. Does anyone have any idea how long it would be from this stage to get an interview? Our local office will be in San Francisco, so I'm not entirely sure how much they are backed up!

Thanks!

It depends on how many cases there are prior to yours. Check the USCIS website to see if the processing center that is handling your application is on track or backed up.

If your currrent status is "Interview/Testing", this means your application is ready to be scheduled, but not actually scheduled. Once your application is scheduled, the status on the USCIS website will reflect the actual day of your interview, as well as informing you that a letter with the place/time/date of your interview has been mailed to you.
