Hi All,

I am looking for people who have married and Russian woman and used the apartments of Moscow Rick and http://www.enjoymoscow.com/. My Elena is going to Moscow in Feb. for her vias interview but she is scared of being ripped off.

It seems all the hotels in our price range are booked up now for the dates we need.

I would like to make contact with a Russian woman who has used the services who would also be willing to phone my lady in Yoshkar-Ola and speak with her concerning it.

Any positive help would be nice.

Thanks

I have never used him but I know of people who have and his reputation is generally very good. Good luck

No personal experience, though I've never heard anything bad either.

Three times, I've used Go to Russia based in Atlanta with an office in San Francisco. That's been over an a period of about 18 months. They have an office in Moscow. The apartment I got us for Maria's interview was about a five minute walk from the Embassy on Novi Arbat and a great location. I'll keep using them: "your mileage may vary."

I've heard mixed reviews about Moscow Rick. Some good, some bad. For the most part... good.

Most apartments in Moscow are pretty standard for the Western rates (that is, you can't speak Russian and find your own apartment on a website) and they are anywhere from $50-250/night depending on size and location, etc.

Since your Elena can speak Russian, have her contact Olesya at http://www.russiangirlfriday.com (You can contact her too, Olesya speaks English.) I highly recommend her service, it will save you a bunch of money and your girl will be taken care of.

She books through Moscow Rick for Westerner guys, but she will be able to help a Russian girl more specifically. (CHEAPER!!!) Have Elena call her (her number is on the website) or send her an e-mail. She's pretty good. My Elena used her services during the interview and saved some pretty good cash compared to what I would've booked for her.

And as always, as Satellite constantly reminds us.... have your girl get the classifieds and rent the apartment herself. (She can check the classifieds in her city or get a Moscow newspaper or even check the internet.)

I used go to russia as well, and probably rented the same apartment that you did.

It was a good experience without any hitches or glitches.
