Hi Everyone,

I'm currently petitioning for my husband's IR-1 and am finding the process to be slow and inefficient. Therefore, I've started a Facebook page that will bring people together to share their stories, in order to bring awareness to this situation and hopefully make some changes. I'm also putting together a petition to call for more employees at USCIS and the NVC so that loved ones aren't separated from each other longer than necessary. When any company in the world gets more clientele, they hire more employees. Immigration should be no different. We should not have to wait 60 days (current wait time according to the NVC) for each document to be processed because there are more approved petitions coming in from the USCIS. I've contacted several congress women, the White House and Homeland Security, and intend to contact more. Please go to my Facebook page and share your story.
